The food itself is really delicious and there was alot of variety. Absolutely love this place I would definately come here again!

Chaotic and completely overworked service. Took them 35 min to take our command. Not very friendly either...more like arrogant. It is shame bei g arrogant if your knowledge of wine tends to be zero. Food disappointing. Tuna Tartar was good. Sirvia , a local fish cooked to death and completely dry. What a pity as on the other hand vegetables that accompanied fish were nice. But if the hero on your plate is dead there is no possible salvation. Quinoa starter boring. Better not to reinvent ceviche either. Menu said Ceviche not ceviche reinvented . Not really.........

Soleado

Situated in the heart of the district of Figueretas, Soleado welcomes you and invites you to discover a refined cooking with a touch of Provence.

We visit Ibiza at least twice per year since ... hummm since 17 years or so. We always stay in Figueretas. So, quality dinning in Figueretas is very much in our focus.
SOLEADO is for us --since quite some years already-- by far the best place to have a quiet, romantic, quality dinner.
Sitting almost with the feet in the water, hearing the sound of the waves, watching the sunset or the moon on the sea at candlelight... it is just magic, food of the Sea Gods for the soul.
And then the superb gastronomy and service. With the years getting even better. Honestly, we have tried the most expensive restaurants with the highest Tripadvisor rates in the old city of Eivissa.... and sorry, Aline's unpretentious, down-to-earth French dishes are simply better. The service always attentive, funny, exquisite.
To close this appraisal: the prices are very affordable and make this place unbeatable. It is simply our favorite. Thank to all the Soleado team, you are doing a great work!

Los pasajeros

It shouldn’t be a surprise, as this restaurant has great reviews however, when we found Los Pasajeros some way along the main harbour, squeezed between two restaurants and up a flight of stairs, we weren’t expecting a great deal!
The reason being that it’s really small, a kitchen is packed into the back and even the toilet is tiny. It’s nothing like any of the many cafes you will have walked past to find this little gem.
The menu choice is also small but we found our Goats Cheese Salad, Chicken Kebab and Lamb Chops to be absolutely delicious! A real treat! Be warned though that this doesn’t come cheap and with those dishes and 3 drinks we topped €45.
Well worth the visit and earns its lofty rating.

Despite its very high rating on TripAdvisor and a number of internationally recognitions, our group's visit and dining experience at Sa Nansa Restaurant Ibiza was very unpleasant and of very poor quality at its best. Here is the detailed story of our visit:
After disembarking at Ibiza port from the Costa Fascinosa Cruise, our group of 12 spent a very pleasant and amazing day at Playa D'en Bossa beach. In the evening we decided to have a nice seafood before returning to the ship. As always, we started our search on TripAdvisor and found a number of places. Sa Nansa restaurant stood at the very high of the list and was chosen. At around 9:30PM our group arrived at the restaurant. The place has two sections; inside and outside beside the pool. When we got there, a group of 5 were sitting on one table inside and two couples were sitting outside. The restaurant seemed relatively free and empty. So we went in and asked the lady attendant for a seat. Mr. Pedro whom we learned is the owner of the restaurant came to us for attendance. We obviously had no prior booking, but Mr. Pedro agreed to provide us with a table.
1st Issue: Attitude - We would have no hard feelings if we were denied, as we had no prior booking. But as the restaurant owner agreed to offer us table and dinner, from that point on, we expected to be treated as their guest. Unfortunately that was not what happened. Mr. Pedro's attitude was quite unpleasant and unwelcoming since the beginning. He received our orders himself and as our group were asking questions from the menu for their order, his responses were quite impolite and impatient. That resulted in confusions and discomfort amongst us and made it quite awkward.
2nd Issue: Timing: After a while, the food started to be brought at the table. The time it took for the last plate to be served and the first plate was about 15 minutes! This might be a normal serving for many restaurants and diners, it's absolutely unacceptable for a highly recognized restaurant with a relatively pricey menu.
3rd Issue: Serving & Food Quality - 6 orders amongst our group had a side dish with fried vegetable and potato chips. None of us received the fried side with our main dish and those were brought with no specific order until the very end of our dinning! Therefore, we had to share the fried dishes as they were brought and that created lots of mess and disorder which again may be normal at a diner, but certainly not a restaurant with 5 consecutive Michelin awards. The quality and size of the dishes were lower than our expectation of such restaurant and certainly not matched by the asking price in the menu.
4th Issue: The Bill - At the end, the bill was also as surprising and problematic and aligned with the above mentioned issues. First, there was a charge of 12 breads while we only had 3! After our complaint, Mr. Pedro quite unwillingly and with a very impolite manner removed that charge! The second problem was the VAT which was charged twice! That to my knowledge is not only unfair, it's even illegal!
Before leaving the restaurant, I asked Mr. Pedro for his name and tried to convey our concerns to him. But again and like his previous attitude, he said that "I do not discuss these ..."! and that's why despite my personal habit, I decided to post this on TripAdvisor.
Temporary tourists like our group make a very large size audience for local Ibiza restaurants during high seasons. These tourists most often rely completely on recommendation sites such as TripAdvisor to pick a restaurant during their short stay. There is no reason to believe that Mr. Pedro's manner was specifically and intentionally only bad to our group and my assumption is that he is like this most of the times. I also don't see any reason that the quality of food and serving was specifically and intentionally only poor for our group and again this is something that I'd assume exist most of the time.
I'm hoping that TripAdvisor gives more attention to the very highly rated restaurants on their site to make sure that the quality remains high and justifies the top ranking, as this is only fair to TripAdvisor users. Thanks.

We visited here as a couple twice.
Firstly, the location is very romantic; a rustic, cobbled street prettily lit up with fairy lights. The waiting on staff were polite and professional during both of our visits.
The food... wow. I had the corvina the first visit, and tuna on the second. Both were some of the best seafood dishes I had all holiday. We didn't try the starters, but the desserts were delicious.

They prepared a nice table on their Terrace for our group of 14 people. Despite they are not used too have Reservations for such big groups over lunch, they prepared everything perfectly and were very helpful. All of us enjoyed it very much!
A few days later, as we were on our way to the airport, we made a quick stop at their restaurant. We wanted to enjoy their lovely food once again, before we had to leave Ibiza. Thanks again for your fast service that day ;), and sorry that we have been in such a rush!
