If you want to listen to some good music in Hunedoara, you should go to Bar Diesel. Most of the time there is rock music, but other kinds, too. The popcorn with butter is excellent! It's dark inside and it gives you the feeling of privacy, while at the same time it is quite a friendly atmosphere. What I don't like is the big amount of smoke that you can usually find there. Also, it would be nice if they had some tables outside, during the summer or spring. Maybe some people don't want to stay in the dark all the time.

I can understand why this restaurant is so highly-recommended in Hunedoara, as the food was really enjoyable. he service was good and the waitress did her best to explain the details of the various dishes to us.
The ambience could be improved though - bright lights and tiled surfaces could be toned down.

A Terrace bar located near the civic center Hunedoara. A pleasant atmosphere, a prompt service, helpful staff make the "Silver" a place where you want to go back with friends. Draft beer, or bottled, but most, fresh fruits sites are the most popular products. The Terrace offers a nice view of the Promenade area of the city

The food tasted average to most of us in the group. The prices are very reasonable. The portion sizes are very generous. However, the wait was in fact 40 minutes. So be ready. The soup did come out faster then the main dishes.
English menus are available. But it'll take a while to get someone to help you unless you bother them continuously or maybe be a local.
Credit cards are accepted and they have free wifi.

We celebrated my grandmothers 80th birthday here. We booked very late notice (one day in advance) for quite a large gathering, but the staff was very understanding and accommodating. The pizzas were a particular favourite with everyone and the setting was great for a warm but wet summer evening (we were seated outside but undercover). The staff were lovely, in particular the waitress that looked after us (I just can't remember her name I'm sorry). Thank you so much, my grandma was very pleased :).

Vintage Park Place offers traditional Romanian food in a clashing mix of high and low atmosphere. Located centrally in a small park surrounded by gambling places for the out-of-work living-on-hope locals, the old-fashioned interior smacks of fine dining, with every table set for five in a fancy and sparkling fashion. Except it’s all being ruined by a loud, obnoxious radio program constantly blaring over the loud-speakers. I visited on a Thursday evening and was surprised to find the restaurant completely empty except for a waitress and chef team, ready to serve one hundred, though there was only me. From the English-language menu, I ordered three courses: Beef Julienne Soup (13 lei), Chicken with Ricotta, Bacon, Pesto Sauce & Wild Rice (24 lei) and Parfei with Nuts (12 lei), all of which arrived with lightning speed. The traditionally served chicken was the best I’ve had in Romania. Throughout the evening, I asked the waitress for two things: First, if she could please light the candle at my table. She pulled out a lighter and gave it a try, but found the wick too short; instead of taking the candle out of the holder and angling it over the flame, or replacing it with one of the at least 25 other candles in the room, she simply shrugged, as if defeated by fate, and moved on. I then explained that I had just arrived to town after sitting on a bus listening to Romanian radio non-stop for hours. I begged her therefore to turn off the radio, to perhaps put on some music better suited to the restaurant’s lovely, cosy atmosphere, or to a least lower the volume. She replied that she was not allowed to do either, so in spite of being the only costumer, I had to eat my meal accompanied by DJ announcements, advertisement breaks and loudly stomping Romanian pop songs better suited for a truck-stop diner or strip club, where I might have welcomed it as appropriate, though under the circumstances I left immediately after the dessert, one bizarre Romanian experience richer.

We had pizza there on an evening. Tasted OK. The price was affordable. The service was slow, although there were not too many customers, and the location quite unwelcome.

The tables were dirty, we waited 30 minutes to get the drinks after calling the waitress 2 times. The coffee was bad, she mixed the orders and waited 45 extra minutes for the food. On the other hand it is quite cheap. Would not recommend it though!

Indoor location - it is impossible to stay, at list during hot summer evenings. Has a very small Terrace, with tables arranged quite strange... Pizza itself - is OK.
