We came for a late lunch. The fish here is very good. 4 out of 5 in our party had Scholle in two different preparations. Moist and well prepared. The Dorsch was also well received.

Welcome to our restaurant with the warm athmospere in the heart of Heiligenhafen, only some steps from the Baltic Sea. The Salzspeicher has been built in 1587 and is one of the oldest buildings in the town. Our specialities are steaks in a great veriety and a lot of delicious pancakes. Of course, we offer as well fish and other specialities of the region.

Our usual restaurant was closed. Locals suggested this establishment. We weren't disappointed. Service was excellent and friendly. The interior had a rustic charm. We had three different meals. I asked for a change in a side dish that came with my meal. The change was made with out a problem. All were well presented and of good quality. There is a nice variety to choose from and the prices reasonable. Can highly recommend the restaurant. I will return on my next visit in the area.

I know, a fish restaurant in a fishing village isn't something different. But our experience was not like what we had experience at the Fischhalle, or the Fisch Hütte. This restaurant is more of a sit down place where you are seated. The owner waited on us and took pride in his knowledge of wine, he can recommend a wine pairing for your meal. The decoration is understated and the music is at a nice level so you can talk and relax, while watching people walk by. It has a relaxed atmosphere, a place perfect for a date while on vacation/holiday.

One of the best fish disches ever!
The restaurant was filled with "locals" and we was lucky to already have reserved a table. The service was quick and attendive but was unable to speak english, still I dont find this a bigger problem.
We had cod filled with airdried ham and mustadsauce. I´ve been travelling a lot and have had many meals in many countries in my life, but this meal was truely one of the best ever!
A slight drawback was the unexisitng wine list. We had a bottle of wine and it was good but I would appreciate a wine list to be able to make a even better choice of wine. Still Germany is a great country for white wines.

First point to note is that while the address is correct the location on the map is out by a few hundred metres. It is next door to Kappen Plambeck. Ate outside in the boat shaped enclosure. Service was spot on and the fish was really good. Excellent salad starter, and at the end we were presented with complimentary digestives - and a light dish of berries for the member of our party who was not drinking.

Cafeteria style with different stations for different kinds of orders -- cold sandwiches, cooked food, drinks. You get exactly what you order. The sandwiches are pre-made, so you get what comes. Lots of tables and benches so it is good for families. Good for a quick meal or snack.

This restaurant looks a bit anonymous from outside, but is surprisingly large inside. There is ample parking space, and the interior is quite cosy. The service was very good, as were the food. The servings were also generous, and we will certainly return when we visit Heiligenhafen the next time.

Enormous portions, heavy and far off from what a pizza is supposed to be. One kilo with cheese on each pizza. The dowe was suggy and thick. The service was okay, prices low.
