Our family of 4 traveling home to Illinois from our Florida vacation and we decided to take a more scenic route down 129 hwy. We found this little gem! We were greeted by a very kind gentleman who seated us and took our order. We all got so excited to see the huge variety of homemade treats! Of course, we had to try several different things because...well...why not?? We are on vacation! My husband and I had the egg croissant sandwich which included homemade croissant and house ground sausage with egg and cheese. It definitely hit the spot! We also ordered a blueberry crisp, lemon bars, banana chocolate chip muffin, chocolate brownie and several cookies. All the baked goods were baked in house and believe me you can taste the difference. The baked goods were just the way my and grandma would bake them!!! Delicious! Definitely a must try and worth the stop!

This was the best experience I've ever had at any Dairy Queen. The employees were super nice. The food was hot and the service was quick. I was very impressed. That will be our new hamburger spot when we pass thru Hawkinsville.

If the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, you'll walk out in love. Better burger than any gourmet burger I've eaten in Atlanta. Hand patted just before it hits the grill. Homemade pimento cheese, jalopenos, and a fried egg for toppers. SIde order of WHite Acre peas with home made pear relish. Pork chops like Mama made in the sixties. Home made pie. My my my.
It's just a hole in the wall meant to satisfy the hole in your stomach. Eat there.

Honestly, after reading some reviews I had high hopes...I gave it a try and I was sorely disappointed, and my stomach was unsettled as well.
The seafood dinner buffet was, really disgusting....as a professional chef I have eaten a lot of fried foods and what I had to choose from was some if the worst!!
Was there anything about the meal that was redeeming....really, the sweet young but kind of helpless young lady at the register who asked me his was my meal..she wasn't prepared for my response...
Although I am in town again, i do not to pass through their doors again!

Stopped here on our way to Saint Simons only after the "intended restaurant" was closed. We will be back! This was honestly the best food and service we had on our short trip. The waitress was "spot on" with her attitude and service. I was torn between two possibilities, and she answered my questions. She gave her recommendation. I don't know why wait staff won't do that (if I didn't want to know, I wouldn't ask), but she did, and I was so glad that she did. I highly recommend the meat-filled omelet. I have never had such a truly "filled" omelet, and our coffee cups were always full.
Stop and give this one a try. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

Stopped for lunch and found a budget that had BBQ chicken, cooked just outside the front door. What a selection, pulled pork bbq, chicken, chicken gizzards and lovers. Lots of veggie choices and the collards were excellent. Salads and desserts and friendly service.

It is all incredibly good. Great service. Friendly. Benn living here all my life and this is, beyond a doubt, the best food around. I eat here every chance I get. When I'm hankerin' for a chili dog mid afternoon....man it just can't be beat!! Love it!

Stopped for a bite to eat late in the afternoon, however the washroom needed attention. Someone has missed the urinal. The paper towel dispenser was empty. We just got a drink and left. Didn't care to stay .
