I grew up in Philly, and as such have accrued a vast history of Cheesesteak contenders and pretenders from all across this great country. And while certain Pennsylvania joints still top my list of best-evers, I am delighted to state that Nap's makes the best Philly Cheesesteak I have ever eaten west of the Ohio River. A true Philly has just 4 elements, and needs no condiment slathering to mask flavors. 1) great hoagie bun 2) thinly shaved beef (preferably top sirloin or tri-tip) 3) onions grilled to soft sweetness 4) serious melted cheese (preferably provolone) volume. Nap's has made the leap to greatness by doing all of these 4 in proper fashion. What's more, the sandwich they make is very large indeed, which leads to gobs of gooey cheesesteak sliding off the bun and drenching the fingers in oily goodness. The experience matches the flavors....and it should be obvious that being involved with the sandwich surpasses simply eating it. No penalty for the delish grilled mushrooms that they add to the masterpiece. On a 10 scale, I give Nap's Philly Cheesesteak a 9.1, just a notch below the very best from back East. Kudos, kudos, kudos, Nap's. Since I am house-hunting in the valley, it is VERY good to know I can access the comfort food of dreams right here in little ol' Hamilton.

Nice variety of sandwiches or salads, soup, quiche, bakery goods, granola, gourmet coffees, teas. A very nice small town place to eat and meet friends. Small tables, nice place to hang and talk. Breakfast and lunch available. Can order by phone for food to Go. Summertime you can eat at one of two little tables outside. Easy to find on Main St, parking can be easy or a hassle depends on time of day. Some Gluten Free baked goods also ! Brownies, cookies, scones, biscotti available most of the time. These are
great people serving Great food at a very reasonable price.

Long time establishment in town, a great place for lunch or dinner (too bad no breaky) Wife and I had excellent service there last night. intuitive and perfectly timed with great wine service as well. Been consistent place to get good food over the years.

Back in Hamilton. Had to re-visit Mineshaft Pasty Co. Went twice in the week I spent in Hamilton. Both times the Pasty was a very tasty pasty. The atmosphere inviting. The owner and staff very friendly. Recommend highly.

Always special, always delicious, always a treat! The food is excellent and has the feel of authenticity, like it was made in grandmother's farm kitchen. The german chocolate cake is the best I've ever tasted and the quiches are too! Lunches are healthy, and the soup sandwich combo is my favorite!

Everything here is so above your expectations that you'll find yourself raving. This French, chef owned restaurant could compete anywhere. .... But..... It's in Hamilton Montana!!!!
We had a large group and honestly every starter, every main and every desert delivered happiness.
I have included photos because the presentation is so beautiful.
We had scallops au gratin starters, French onion soup, goat cheese with herbs starters that blew our minds. We moved into lamb stew, more scallops, cheese tray as a main etc.... But the winner.... The chicken vol-au-vent will make you weep.
This is a Destination restaurant worth a drive and a reason for gratitude if you live here.

My husband is lactose intolerant and has to have special milk. He drinks a mocha every day and when we moved to town I looked for a stand that would let us bring in our own milk. I got the total run around by another stand and once I went to "outlaw" they were more than happy to accommodate. AND, their coffee is very high quality.

We really like to have the lunch menu at Dairy Queen. I think they have four different meals. The meal is complete, even has drink and desert. We have tried all of them. Enjoyed them all. Fast service and they even bring the meal to your table.
