The biggest USP of the Restaurant is the authenticity of the flavor any original form of ethnic recipes. Since Assam is land of various species of Bamboo, it comes as no surprise that the interiors of the Delicacy don’t disprove this.

Clean and decent place. Moderately priced. The ambience is good and the staff working there are courteous. Of course because of use of Fermented Bamboo and other indigenous food items, the smell lingers in the air. Perhaps improving the exhaust and Ventillation would help. Tables and toilets are clean. Good part of this restaurant is that apart from Assamese ethnic cuisine, some other cuisines of the other North Eastern States is also available.The taste of the food is really good and the portions are not miserly.

A very delicious eatery to get yourself satisfied if you are a real herbivorous.
Wide range of variety from breakfast to lunch and dinner.
Some good combo of Puri/Rice Thalis will satisfy your long pending hunger , along with south Indian dishes , lassi etc.,
Give a try when you are in town.
Also they serve a wide range of sweets and hot salted items.

We went by a recommendation and were not disappointed. Usually serves a thali (fixed menu) but Ala-carte dishes are available as well. We tried the Bhhot Jholokia Chicken. For those of you who don't know it, Bhoot jholokia held the title of the most pungent chilli in the world. It's verrry strong. Not for the faint hearted!

Machan is my all time favorite restaurant.. Specially, the buffet..lunch/dinner buffet always there..Great peace of mind once u entered into the restaurant.. Artificially designed with a giant tree just in d middle.. Can get d feeling of being open area but still very peaceful.. Full Budget place with nice yummy buffet.. Per head aprx. 625..clean toilet.. Very well maintained..good service..

Naga Kitchen is furnished in a very traditional way. The interiors are furnished with bamboo and wood. The momos and the sweet chilli chicken are the major attraction of this restaurant. This restaurant provides superb non vegetarian cuisines.

We had a small gathering of doctors at this venue and I was quite impressed with the arrangements.
The Chinese food served at this place was delicious. We had the ginger fried rice and mix vegetables in schezuan sauce.
The darshan with ice cream was an ideal finish to the meal

A good place to chill with both family and friends and also a really decent event venue.The items are expensive and the the portions served are little in quantity
The food is delicious, the cocktails are well mixed.The Terrace overlooks the city and the hills surrounding the city look quite splendid

Gopal Maharaj is located in Fancy Bazar. It has the best North Indian Food in Guwahati with the most reasonable pricing. It's always a delight to go back there.
