This is good value for money as you pay a fixed price for the buffet, compared to places like Yo! Sushi in London, where they charge by number and colour of plates. The selection comes on a conveyor belt, so you pick what you like when you want it. Also, there is no time-limit. The bottom belt has a selection of freshly made and tasty sushi, while the top belt features Chinese dishes. Everything is well spiced. Definitely worth the money and a visit. Also, important to take your time.

Over the years we have been visiting the Fregatten a few times, always for lunch with open sandwiches. This time it was for their lunch buffet on a Saturday in connection with the celebration of a round birthday. A buffet with a small range of different food, maybe a little boring. Not absolutely gourmet-like, but maybe we had too high expectations. A bit overpriced!
Nice surroundings. Bright and friendly room. If you are lucky and sit by the window, you have a fine view of the port. Unfortunately the acoustic are not very good, it was hard to conduct a conversation with a person facing you. May be because everything seems too busy, the noise level was high, and there was really hot too. All tables were fully occupied and you sat very close (not as a sardin, but almost).
The staff was friendly and helpful, despite the fact that they were really busy. They were too few, which meant that they were not able to keep up.

Visited the nice located restaurant for lunch - Called them and ordered a table for 3 and received a confirmation by phone.
When we arrived the table was taken by another client, but after complaining they was told the table was reserved - Embarrassing and not very nice service....
Ordered food, however the servicing was VERY slow, we was told that there was no more bread, and therefore we needed to wait - we waited for more than 1 1/2 hours for the "standard food" !!!???
The service was VERY slow and not as good as the beautiful surroundings and location in general.
Also, the time for ordering food is special - If you don't make an order before 15.00 (Saturday), you can't get more food - None of the staff told anyone or made a warning before 15.00, and asked if we wanted to make additional orders before the kitchen was closed - All guest was laughing and the girls at the table next to us was VERY surprised as they tried to order more food at 15.15
However, the food was VERY nice and high quality and traditional Danish smørrebrød
If this restaurant improves the service/staff level, it will be a winner but for now I cannot recommend a visit, due to the slow and bad service.

It was a very experience we had there, the food was fresh and delicious. The only negative experience was the heating elements from the convey belts generated to much heat which is annoying for them sitting next to the belts.

Can strongly recommend the all you can eat offer. it is NOT a buffet but freshly made for you. The restaurant has various asian influences and mixes them well. My own preferences are the sushi dishes and maybe less the warm dishes. Recommend you book your table as it is very popular at peak hours. Normally very friendly service. The room is OK but can be a little noisy but the building looks a little boring from the outside.

I was surprised. Does not look like you´re going to get great burgers, but we did. Feels like they actually put as much effort in to them as they advertise.

Lovely italian style ice-cream freely made every day. Different varieties during the season based on availability of fruit. For large parties at home, they deliver ice-cream including a small freezer
