Excellent array of pastries, not superb high-end for refined tastes but reliably good. Options include standard American choices but no fashionable or haute cuisine delicacies. No obscure Viennese pastries or Italian confections here, just solidly mainstream.

Anne's Kitchen Table

We on Saturday late afternoon for lunch. The place is small, cure and intimate. Off the main street, so no street noise. We had their coffee, and sandwich, The food was tasty and portions were perfect (neither too large nor too small). Limited menu options but they also had very unique selection of salads. Interesting thing - note the names of dishes. You can make out its a family run business. There was shelf full of cook books. But if you are not seated next to the shelf then you wont get to enjoy the books unless you awkwardly ask look at the shelf over people's food. We tried the brownies. They were very large but dry. I liked their sandwich and southwest soup better.

Expected, A sports bar can and will be NOISY, but that comes with the territory, Bar dirks are adequate and plentiful. Single complaint, Which has been noted many times before to management...CHINCY PAPER STAWS, THAT BASICALLY ARE NOT USABLE...WHY WOULD MANAGEMENT SPOIL THE MENU BY CHEATING ON PAPER STRAWS...GOT ME.............MAYBE SOMEONE WILL WAKE UP. ?????

Park Plates

Casual restaurant serving ethnic inspired cuisine from the Mediterranean and the Middle East.

This is a small and relatively informal restaurant, but with an excellent staff making interesting and creative dishes. My wife and I shared vegetarian appetizers and entrees, and were pleasantly surprised by the pleasant dining experience. The wait staff seemed very knowledgeable about ingredients. Not an inexpensive meal, but sharing appetizers or meals can keep expenses down. I would like to return again.

It's a new name but still the same people making everything and still the best pizza around. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Same address, even same phone number - just a new name - Vinny's. Pizza is consistently good, thin crust, great sauce, just the right amount of cheese. Bella's opened a second location and then sold the original to the former manager (at least I think so - every time I go in there everyone is the same). It's the only place in the area (Abington, Jenkintown, Glenside) that I would go to for pizza.

Keswick Tavern

The Keswick is an excellent stop in Glenside. It is across the street from the iconic Keswick Theater and anchors a redeveloped section of Glenside with several restaurants, taverns and nightspots. The KT as it is known, has good food, an excellent craft beer list and very good service. The main room has a bar in the center with booth surround and high tops. There is another dining area also. Two walls face Keswick Ave. and Easton Rd with garage door windows that can be raised in nice weather for open air dining. There are flat screens everywhere you look for those sports enthusiasts.
We came on a Saturday evening and were able to be seated right away. We had burgers and a couple of craft beers each for the four of us. The burgers are worth it. We had the Boss Hog Nachos. Impressive. The bill was $140 plus tip. Not bad. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly even though it was a very busy night, she was always there to check. This is a place worth the visit and we will definitely return.

Marco Polo Ristorante & Bar

Reviewed By David S - Pittston, Pennsylvania

Visited here with my family on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was very busy, and the service subsequently a little slow. No matter, that allowed us extra time for conversation. The facility looks a bit run down: The table finishes were chipped, and the glassware scuffed. I ordered the chicken Florentine Pannini (or should it be "panino?"), which I found well-prepared, but somewhat bland. The rest of our party said their food was excellent and included panini, pasta, and chicken dishes.

Plenty of parking. Sit inside comfy chairs or outside. Just had a bagel, cheese, egg, sausage sandwich- excellent and a coffee. They also offer Ice cream, Levis hot dogs, sodas. Comfortable décor, great friendly service. They also have a stand at Keswick theatre where they sell coffee, tea and snacks.
