Our waiter is super helpful and forthcoming. I had its signature burger and the patty was cooked perfectly. The salad is chilled and refreshing. However we were rather disappointed that the bbq dishes on menu were not available. Given the limited choices of eateries in fort kent, I am glad I found this place.

While visiting married children in Fort Kent we got carry-out pizza for dinner on Saturday night. The restaurant seemed to be fairly crowded and popular, but probably would have been noisy to have had dinner there. The pizza was good but a little on the pricey side (around $40 for 2 large pizzas).

Had lunch here in early afternoon. Server was pleasant. food delivery time was surprisingly slow given only 5 other diners there at same time. Small, rustic place with tables as well as bar seating. Menu of pizza, sandwiches. We had home made potato fries/chips (which were slightly burnt), hot sandwich and burger were average. Interesting décor including potato baskets for overhead lampshades (why not! when you're in Aroostook Co, Maine-still known as potato country!) Furniture was a bit tired-splits and chips out of molded seats.
Unfortunately it may be hard to compete with McDonalds across the street.
Acc to menu it's open Tues-Sun at 10am.

The toast from homemade bread was a meal in itself and such an unexpected surprise. Right across from the International Bridge, this diner has been there for a long time. Nothing fancy, but very clean and the server was very friendly. This will become our breakfast stop every time we are passing through Ft. Kent.

We arrived in Fort Kent after sunset and there were only a few restaurants still open at 8:00 p.m. Being that we like Asian food, we selected the Asian restaurant. How can you go wrong with Asian food. Because we arrived just before closing, the buffet was not available. Hence, we ordered from the menu. We decided to have the daily dinner special. The meal includes a very large bowl of soup. This bowl is equal to or larger than the Thai noodle bowl dinners. The next course were three appetizers for each of us. The appetizers were terriakyi sticks of chicken, beef, and pork and a couple of rangoons. For the main meal we had Chicken Koa Po and Beef with broccoli. Of course, tea is included. All this for about $10.95 each. We are large eaters and we had to bring our leftovers to our motel room. The food was tasty and the service was also very good. In a way, we were happy we missed the usual Asian buffet.

We could tell from the moment we entered the restaurant that it was clean. This was important to us because during our vacation in Maine, we encountered very dirty restaurants. The food was fresh and the staff was friendly and professional. They even explained things to us like when we asked if the guacamole was fresh, she first responded 'yes' but then explained that it is made fresh and was just unthawed that day and asked if that was okay. The only criticism is there is no free wi-fi at this location but we survived anyway:) Overall, great experience.
