Even though it's a chain restaurant I've always enjoyed Longhorn restaurants. I guess it brings out the cowgirl in me! On this cold and rainy August afternoon I needed to take myself out to lunch. Wow have things changed! The New York Strip steak was cooked perfectly and delicious. However, the chef was overly generous with the salt. The baked potato was tasty also but I'm not sure what they put on top of it. It wasn't sour cream! To my surprise I had to pay extra for the salad that used to come with your meal. The waitress was very pleasant and the restaurant was quite busy which doesn't say much about the choices of eating establishments in Sussex County. All in all it didn't brighten my mood like time in the saddle with my best equine companion does.

Cliffs has always been one of the best ice cream shops in New Jersey. My wife and I were here a few days ago and the quality hasnt changed. We look forward to coming here every summer. Its worth a drive out here.

We were the first to arrive on a Thursday night around 5:30 pm. The service staff were replacing bulbs in what we were told were new light fixtures. The maitre'd (or owner? not sure) greeted us warmly and welcomed us to the restaurant. He is the one who told us about the new lighting. Enrique was our waiter and seemed to be the waiter for at least five or so tables - assisted with a large staff who served - and then another waiter jumped in. Very capable, very attentive. It seemed that most of the other diners were regulars. Also in the time we ordered quite a few people headed to the bar. We had the veal osso bucco ($42) which was a Fred Flintstone size portion served with pasta and veggies. Also had the shrimp with wild mushrooms, asparagus, and sun-dried tomatoes ($23.50) in a pernod sauce with parmesan mashed potatoes and veggies (carrots/broccoli). Salad is included. Also great bread which we did a number on - some with butter and some with olive oil that Enrique was kind enough to offer us. Then had cappuccino ($5) and got several delicious little biscotti. The new lighting created a nice, warm cozy ambiance - not sure what the old lighting was like....but atmosphere is very nice. Tables are far enough apart that you can have a conversation and have it be private.

We come here periodically after my son's swim lessons for a quick meal. We have never had a " bad" experience but it isn't something to rave about. The people are nice enough but no one is overly service oriented. Usually with family owned, smaller restaurants they sell themselves on the service even if their food isn't so great because they value the business. My impression is that they feel they are "so established" going the extra mile is not really needed. Like I said, food is good and not overpriced but the so-so service always makes me question if we really want to continue going.

Always hit my favorite diner when I'm in the area! Always good! Great people! They have the best cream of mushroom soup! Yum! Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a great NJ hard roll for breakfast! ❤️

Over 100 mouthwatering choices to select. Try our famous SuperSub Italian. #10 and then try our cheesesteak sub and then try another and another
Have been coming to Sandwiches Unlimited for years and this visit, with my family was pleasant and everyone loved their sandwich choice. Sean and LeeAnn, the owners, could not have been nicer and gave great service along with the fresh and tasty sandwiches, salads and the dill pickle included. Plan to return for many years to come.

After stopping at two other places during a recent business trip as we looked for a decent place to eat, we stumbled upon Carmine's after calling our hotel for a recommendation.
We were the only people there as it was early and dinner hadn't really started yet, but they didn't mind. The staff was super friendly and the food was great! The warm bread and butter was very welcomed after a long day in the rain.
Excellent!

The last three times I have been there, they have messed up the order. Once I ordered a bagel and coffee, (drive through), and pulled away only to later find out I had a tuna fish sandwich. I think the service has declined since the remodeling and most of the people there have English as a second language. It is very difficult to order drive through when you can't understand the person on the other end of the intercom.

My daughter and I had lunch here again today and were as pleased as we were on our prior visits. The buffet was well-stocked with a wide variety of tasty and well-presented dishes. (We are not vegetarians, but it appeared as though there were several selections that would be appropriate for those who are.) The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We will definitely return.

We were initially seated in side, in a large room that was like visiting your grandmothers old house. We moved outside, which was 1000 times better. The bar is magnificent as is the outside, the interior rooms need a major overhauling, I don't care if its a mansion it needs help, bad. The food was spot but i don't know if i would go back in the winter only because grandmas house is grandmas house, got the picture?
