Went there late afternoon (after lunch hours). Kitchen was workiing, so we could order the meal. Tomato soup - very good Beef soup -good average Champion - very nice Vegetable WOK - below average. Service was fair - nothing special. SPRITZER (wine with soda): great

I have stayed at the Malerwinkl a number of times and am happy to go back again and again.
The chef at the restaurant, Peter Treussinger, is one of the finest culinary artists I have had the pleasure to meet.
His blend of traditional cooking with contemporary cuisine makes his restaurant one of the best I have visited.

Great views, great service, great value delicious food. What to say more? The waitress spoke very good English and was quite funny. Even though we originally stopped for a drink only, the menu was so tempting that we couldn´t resist and we were very happy we didn´t. My pumpking cream soup was superlicious and for 3,10 EUR an absolute steel (it was a meal on it´s own). My partner had a plate of 4 different smoked fish which was huge and very nicely presented (10 EUR). We were sitting outside under the vines overviwing the castle. Perfect experience. And on top, the owner was even so nice to help us with our flat tire on the bike!

The atmosphere and location are enough to warrant a visit to this Schloss! But the cuisine and service make it a great experience, looking out over the beautiful surrounding countryside.
We had a window seat and dined bathed in lovely autumn Sunshine. The food was very good: we had super entree sized dishes (starters in some peoples' parlance). A medley of game was well cooked and presented. A dish based on local cheeses made the other chosen dish. Professional and friendly service, good wine selection and regional beer made for a very good experience. We shall visit again and mostly likely stay in the hotel, which offers very well priced packages .

-we ordered the surprise menu with 6 dishes and we were speachless how someone can combine tradition and gourmet!
-the atmosphere was quite, cosy and accopmanied by nice, traditional music.
-the service was excellent.
-the food and the choise of the wine was unique.
-the raw material was the best quality and the cook knew how to deal with it.
-the restaurant has its own buchery
i would recommend this place to everyone who would like to taste traditional food from this area. i tasted the best meat (deer and beef) ever!

Ich war schon einmal hier da war die Bedienung sicherlich mit ausgezeichnet zu beurteilen,
habe dies aber bei meinem zweiten Besuch aber nicht vorgefunden.
Die Suppe war ausgezeichnet, das Piccata Milanese war auch sehr gut gelungen.
Die Salatbar war vorhanden, die würde ich mit befriedigend bewerten.
Sonst ist hier nicht viel los, aber das Essen ist sicherlich auffallend gut..
Die Stimmung im Lokal läßt etwas zu wünschen übrig, liegt vermutlich daran, dass nicht viel los war.. ???

Kam rein zufällig in die Pizzeria, habe hier eine Pizza spät abends geteilt.
Ich hoffe ich kann bald wieder kommen... denn auch auf die Kalorien ist zu achten.
Das Personal ist soweit auch sehr positiv motiviert.
Andere Speisen kann ich somit nicht bewerten.

Hatten kurzfristig Lust auf eine Pizza und haben dort bestellt angegebene Lieferzeit von 20 Minuten wurde eingehalten und noch warm geliefert. Die PIzze waren ok wenn auch nichts besonderes. Bei der Pizza Prosciutto fehlte das Salz im Teig der auch nur sehr hell gebacken war. Bei der Pizza Salami fiel das fehlende Salz nicht so auf. Gut war auch das nicht zu viel Käse auf den Pizzen war sonst war Belag o. k.
Wenn wir wieder Lust auf Pizza haben werden wir trotzdem wieder da bestellen

Die Delikaterie is a nice restaurant just in the centre of the small spa village Bad Gleichenberg in the south-east of Styria. You can get regional specialities as well as good wines.The service in friendly and helpful. Especially in Spring, Summer and Autumn you can find a nice and quiet Terrace. Have a stop for lunch or dinner. I liked it.
The products in the shop are a little to expensive, but the quality is good. Not only a good packaging is important - good products for a good value of money is the goal.
