Where to Eat in Everett: The Best Restaurants and Bars

April 14, 2018 Tonie Szymanski

Birthplace of Boeing airplanes, Everett is a lively coastal city just north of Seattle. Its waterfront, once a highly industrialized area home to a naval base and large paper mill, has recently undergone a transformative redevelopment as a locale for seaside shopping, dining and festivities. The city's numerous parks, boasting free live concerts every summer, are excellent for hiking or relaxing, while the coast is a popular spot for sailing, water sports and whale watching excursions.

we had a totally delightful lunch. We did move to a table in the bar to get away from the noise which makes it hard to have a conversation.
The menu choices ranged from soup and salads to dishes with all the SE Asian ingredients from basil to ginger and you name it. The prices were surprisingly reasonable - average around $10 - 11. Dishes are served with brown or white rice or noodles. If you crave something different? This is your place.
We also enjoyed the attentive and friendly service

This restaurant has tasty seafood, but to me it seems like what you're paying for is the atmosphere. The service here was disappointing, and my food was not memorable at all. Seriously, I would say more about it but can't remember what I even ate. Also, the noise level was a bit high for a higher end place. It's fine, just not really my cup of tea.

Emory's on Silver Lake

Emory's is located on the shore of Silver Lake, a 106-acre natural spring fed lake. The restaurant's interior decor is very "lodgy" with high open beam ceilings and spectacular westerly views across the lake. In addition to our spacious 6,000 square foot building, we feature the largest outdoor lake front deck in Snohomish County.

Celebrated husbands birthday here, this is our 5th or so visit in as many years. Close to home, great atmosphere, professional staff, excellent food. A bit spendy but worth it for special occasions. This restaurant has burned down several times over the years, interesting history here. Did I mention beautiful views of the lake?

Outstanding restaurant. There was a group of us (16 total) and we had wonderful service for serving that many people all at once. Honestly, our waitress was so good. We had an Entertainment book coupon which made the price even better but it's worth it even if you don't have a coupon. I had the London Broil, my husband had the Chicken Pot Pie. All the food that everyone had was described by them as really good though. I don't think you can go wrong here !

We enjoyed an evening with our friends here and really enjoyed the dinner. My dish was a salad with salmon and prawns. I was pleasantly surprised at the chilled, raw prawns, not cooked. In case of Sushi, raw shrimp is called Amaebi, meaning sweet shrimp. It tastes slightly sweet when the shrimp is fresh and raw. I really enjoyed the raw prawns in my salad. The salmon was nicely cooked and seasoned. Others had chickens and salmons and everyone enjoyed the meal. The only thing that wasn’t good was the appetizer was overpriced.

The food was okay. Not a lot of healthy choices on the menu. For that reason alone, I will probably not choose to dine here again. Not to mention.... our server forgot to bring our drinks. Our meals arrived, still no beverages.... we spotted our server at other tables... but she only returned to ours when she finally noticed she forgot our drinks. I don't think we saw her again after that. Luckily other servers checked on us later.

Anthony's Woodfire Grill

Only the Anthony's Homeport has brunch/breakfast. The Homeport's specialty is seafood. The Woodfire grill specializes in steak and roasted chicken.

Reviewed By Vancouver_Roary - Vancouver, Canada

We were staying one night in Everett and we wanted to find a place to eat by the water. We initially went to Anthony's Homeport without a reservation, but they were fully booked up. So we walked over to Anthony's Woodfire Grill where we found out we could be seated immediately.

We had:
- Steak and BBQ Prawns - Good steak, and the prawns and potatoes had great flavor. Best dish of the night. This entree was on special for $25, so it was a good price.
- Knife & Fork Rotisserie Chicken Caesar - Terrible. Initially, I thought the "knife and fork" some referred to fresh rotisserie chicken, but I realized it meant that the salad needed a knife to cut it because it was basically a 1/2 head of lettuce with dressing and croutons on top. When it first arrived, there was no chicken. When I asked the server about it, they had forgotten the chicken, and brought a half breast of cold and dried-out rotisserie chicken. What a waste of $17.
- Kids Pizza - Poor. Minimal toppings and no flavor. Dough was bready and chewy.
- Kids Salmon - OK. Good portion size, but otherwise average tasting.

Service was average at best. As mentioned, they initially forgot the chicken for my caesar salad.

Location is pretty nice with a view of the harbour. Plenty of parking available.

Overall, it just seemed like an average chain restaurant. Some good (steak and prawns) and some bad (chicken caesar salad) dishes. Probably wouldn't come back to the Woodfire Grilll, but may try Anthony's Homeport to see if it's any better.

This restaurant was recommended by friends. After ordering breakfast, eating and taking a substantial portion of the meal back home, I can understand why this is the number one breakfast diner in the Seattle area. Service was super with our coffee cup continually refilled and coming by to insure everything was okay. Knowledgeable, efficient personnel and tasty food assured an enjoyable meal. As titled, if you are hungry, this is the place to go.
