It is a lovely place to experience if you happen to be on a business trip. Otherwise a meal there will leave a massive hole in your pocket. Judging from the types of cars parked on the hotel's parking lot, this is no object to the place's clientele ;) Essentially it is a Bilderberg-type crowd expecting this kind of service and it is provided. The food is top class - very smart, super fresh, with local produce and clear attention to detail. If you want to splash out on a romantic dinner for your spouse or parents, this is the place to go to. Selection of tasting menus looked very smart indeed and I ought to try one of them the next time I am there.

This is a wonderful restaurant in a nice setting; an old villa. I found the menu to have a nice selection, even for a vegetarian. The seasonal offerings were delicious, well presented and reasonably priced. The waitress seemed put off that I did not want the English menu and refused to speak to me in German - undaunted I only spoke to her in German, pretending not to notice. There is extra parking across the street in the garage for swimming pool. It would be a good choice for a special occasion.

The restaurant is situated in the center of Ettlingen. It has some nice interior, which brings you directly to the Greek atmosphere that reminds you of holidays. The food is good and don't try the typical dishes that you can find everywehere, Kouros has some nice dishes in recommendation that are unique and brings the original Greek cuisine to your table. The wine list is not that elaborated but the choice can surely bring some nice bottles to taste. Mezes is nice with all small plats if you ask for it, like in Greece.

A place I found after having too much Italian and Mexican food in Ettlingen. And it was a good choice. Delicate refined dishes, a notch above the casual fare in most surrounding eateries. Lovely soups - my son devoured them. Beautiful-looking mains to go for - I had a duck dish and on another occasion pork medallions (it is Germany after all...;) ), all very good and definitely worth trying if you are there.

We had a group work dinner at Veritas and enjoyed the experience very much. Located in a beautiful building on a square it certainly looks interesting on arrival and the interior is equally good. The menu selections are very good and the quality of the food was high. The service was equally good and attentive. Overall a very nice evening.

I had dinner at Watt's with business colleagues. Everything was good - from the bread with herb spread before the meal, to the feldsalat, the fish, and the chocolate pyramid for dessert. It was a very nice meal with pleasant staff in a comfortable setting.
I did not pay so I cannot comment on the price.

This place serves a fine mexican cuisine, but its quite influenced by the local taste and flavor. I liked the taste of the food, as its still not a german food. Enjoy your evening here, it worths a visit once.

Large dining area, with an area for smokers. Not a huge menu but then their specialty is beer.
I had the sesame schnitzel with a light beer sauce and great housemade potato salad. The price was 8 euro 95 and was certainly worth every euro. The menu does change weekly so at least if you go there once a week you probably will be able to choose from new item(s) on the menu.
Very busy place with locals, and I believe they will take Reservations
