Ermioni (Greek Ερμιόνη, Ancient Greek Hermione Ἑρμιόνη, Ἑρμιών) is a small port town and a former municipality in Argolis, Peloponnese, Greece on the Argolid Peninsula. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Ermionida, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 168.180 km. It is a popular tourist resort.

One would expect much more from this old and well known fish taverna in Porto Heli, located at a very picturesque corner (albeit very crowded and noisy in summer nights). Ordinary starters, while the grilled fish was just OK but definitely not charcoal-grilled and not so tasty. Very expensive for what it is, as on these prices you can have a far better fish dinner in other trendy areas and in Athens as well. Service is a bit slow but polite and helpful. Wine list is adequate but again prices should be a bit lower.

Having been to Ermioni many times by yacht, we always try to moor close to the Milennium bar. It started off as a typical greek taverna but over the years they have significantly improved their Seating and the bar interior. They help you with mooring lines and offer free water and electricity. I have spent many a morning or afternoon sat in their comfortable seats, looking at the yachts, using the free wifi. I think they have some of the best loos in Greece! In the evening the bar can get a little noisy but it has a party atmosphere and a good place to meet other people on yachts. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always seem to remember you from previous visits.

A taverna on the seafront serving both seafood as well as pasta and other meats. The food is reasonable as is the service. Possibly one of the better tavernas in the area in terms of location and size.

Overall it is a nice place but try to order something simple to make.. Otherwise you will be disappointed.

We both had the lamb chops, a lot of good food. There was also the choice of traditional Greek dishes and seafood. Service was a little slow but this was because of two large parties who had arrived and ordered before us. The restaurant is situated right on the harbour. An average priced meal with a complimentary cake and ice cream.

Nice location, friendly staff. We stopped here looking to have lunch. We sat in the outdoor area across the road which is pleasant. Once we looked at the menu we realised that it was a bakery and not a café!

Whenever I want to eat something which is fresh, good wholespme food, I go to Maria's. Traditional Greek cuisine plus seafood, which is fresh everyday. No haute cuisine. Your basic, wholesome, beautiful, unassuming food, that is based on the quality of the ingredients. Try grilled sardines, grilled or fried squid, fried tiny shrimp, the absolutely best ever chips and saganaki (fried cheese), and any of her salads or traditional dishes.
Excellent value for money. Maria, the owner and soul of the restaurant, is fun, communicative and works like a dog to be sure she delivers to her clients as best she can.
If in Ermioni don't miss this.

Spent a night in reminiscing on a sailing trip and ate at this waterfront restaurant. Excellent fresh fish which we chose cooked perfectly. Friendly service and good house wine. Great setting and good value

Μικρό μαγαζάκι, στην άκρη του κεντρικού δρόμου, το οποίο ενδείκνυται κυρίως για κρέπα. Τίποτε το περισσότερο, τίποτε το ιδιαίτερο. Ο κύριος που σερβίρει είναι ευγενέστατος και εξυπηρετικότατος!
