Enschede (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɛnsxəˌdeː] ( listen)), also known as Eanske [ˈɛːnskə] in the local dialect of Twents, is a municipality and a city in the eastern Netherlands in the province of Overijssel and in the Twente region. The municipality of Enschede consisted of the city of Enschede until 1935, when the rural municipality of Lonneker, which surrounded the city, was annexed after the rapid industrial expansion of Enschede which began in the 1860s and involved the building of railways and the digging of the Twentekanaal.

Very good, cozy restaurant in the city center of Enschede. The house speciality is the spareribs, which were greatly enjoyed by our party. Appetizers and desserts were very tasty as well. Somewhat expensive, but fairly standard pricing for this area. Highly recommended for a nice meal.

had dinner there with great quality and great atmosphere, the food was great and liked finding Nachos there for starters, my friend had the shrimp platter for main course and i had the Burger, which was served in Italian bread which i didn't like so much but overall was great, coffee later in the Terrace at floor level with great coffee. very friendly staff and really worth the visit.
the only downside was that the toilets are i the upper floor which would make it hard for anyone with difficulties.

Stopped in on a couple of occasions for a hot cappuccino. Staff was helpful and quick. plenty of room to sit and relax. centrally located near the train station

The food was super delicious and portions really generous. We did not know that and ordered too much food! Half way through, although delighted we were completely full. The waitress asked how we were doing and upon hearing the situation she said "let me see what I can do". They cancelled the rest of the order with a smile on their faces! Really appreciated the gesture. Great place for an evening out.

The place was excellent but the food not impressive at all. The starter sounded impressive but wasn't. The falafel were fried in heavy oil and the mushrooms had cheese all over. We tasted a spanish dish as a main course. It was full of overkooked peppers and beans. It was too salty with a tomato-greasy sause. I live in europe and I have eaten better spanish dishes than this. Very diassapointed.

Enjoyed an incredible dinner with university colleagues who are dear friends of the proprietors Charlotte and Yuen. Dinner was an amazing feast with so many courses I lost track-- and everything delicious.
The menu is always a surprise based on diners' overall preferences. Because one of our party (that would be me) mentioned being unable to eat spicy food, some of the courses were served as doubles with a spicy dish and a non-spicy dish, so everyone was happy. Food styles ranged from Chinese to Indonesian.
While we were there, Charlotte arranged with my friends to send Santa Claus letters to my friends' children, and she sent an extra dish home for the kids as well. I've never seen a more devoted hostess and host. Apparently kids are not only welcomed at this restaurant but also loved and doted upon.
If your travels bring you to Enschede, don't miss this unique and wonderful place!

We had arrived in Enschede and fancied a light lunch before exploring. Great family atmosphere and helpful staff. We chose the soup with sausage and peas also served with ham on rye. People seemed to be having a wide variety of food and drinks - most of menu is available all day and evening. We would probably have returned if we were staying longer.

We had two chefs specials (wild boar stew and chicken) which were great!
The atmosphere in this restaurant is simple and cosy, Staff makes you feel very comfortable (no pushy service, alway just in time for the next drink).
Nice assortiment of beers that go with the meals served.
All at a fair price.
Will return!

I expected a bit more, but in general you can say that the food is good. The steaks are the best, yet the music sometimes was not matching the atmosphere that the restaurant is trying to create. It is a very popular place for locals, so you will for sure be accompanied by other people when you eat.

Nice big clean restaurant, once shown to our table we was given a Samsung tablet which we could place our orders.
The orders where delivered swiftly, and you can keep changing your order as your evening progresses. Food was tasty and as I was expecting (even with having to use chopsticks for the first time).
You even ask for the bill via the table.
