Excellent Greek BYOB restaurant with limited off-street parking. Cheerful decor with blue and white checkered tablecloths. Nice selection of authentic and tasty Greek dishes on menu. Nearby liquor store that sells Greek wine. Very good service. Fair and competitive prices. We went there with another couple to give them an introduction to Greek food in advance of a trip to Greece. We went without reservations for a late lunch, but the place was filling up as we left, so reservations are probably a good idea.

Steakhouse 85 is a 21st century rendition of the classic American Steakhouse. The menu at Steakhouse 85 is comprised of fresh and inspiring modern day interpretations of classic American cuisine, served alongside the traditional steakhouse classics we all know and love. The back bone of our menu is without a doubt our beef. Our mouth watering dry aged steaks are rubbed with a simple yet luscious combination of sea salt, black pepper and fresh herbs. They are seared on a 1200 degree cast iron grill and then broiled to your liking. Paired with a large classically designed bar, complete with savvy cocktails and a Wine Spectator award winning wine list, this steakhouse is sure to please.
Great dinner! The service was wonderful and the steak was terrific! My son had the tomahawk for his birthday which was huge and delicious! It is expensive!

Torino Restaurants offers superb authentic Northern Italian cuisine that reflects the family’s origins in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The cuisine is a combination of traditional classics and state-of-the-art fare. All of the dishes are prepared with an emphasis on using on the freshest, prime ingredients, keeping the integrity of traditional dishes while incorporating a new style, with the focus on taste.
This isn't on Main Street so sometimes it gets lost in the shuffle, but this place has been around and it is real good Italian. It probably is the best Italian food in Metuchen, which shows as many places have opened and closed while Torino is getting more busy as the years go on. Have had a few meals and everyone have been good. People there are always very nice and accommodating.

When I was told about this place, I had higher expectation. Fountainbleau is a very average mid level diner? Good service, simple decor, not creative menu.

We have been to Chef White's 2 NYC restaurants, to the amazing Central Park Marea, proudly distinguished by 2 Michelin stars, and Al Fiori, studded by 1 Michelin star. Being to Marea twice, and having enjoyed the food immensely, we had certain minimal expectations regarding...MoreThank you for your review. We're sorry that you felt the food at Due Mari was inferior in any way to our other Altamarea Group restaurants. Each one has a certain style and focus and is overseen by our culinary team. Al Dente is one of the finest Italian restaurants in N.J., but few know it. The problem is every Italian restaurant has the same menu, organized into humdrum categories: pasta, veal, chicken, fish, etc. What distinguishes Al Dente from nearly all others is the phenomenal high quality of the food, the wonderful flavors and perfect temperatures and textures of what is delivered to your table. We've NEVER been disappointed here. What prevents us from frequenting Al Dente year round is the noise in the main dining room and the inability of the restaurant to deliver comfortable temperatures in winter and summer. My personal hope is enough of us give Al Dente the rating it deserves to generate enough income to improve the comfort levels when the temperatures outdoors are extreme. This place is good! By the way, the bar is romantic and cozy, so if you're party is loud, please stay outside in the dining room which is already loud. If you're Al Dente, add linens, foam, tapestry, and anything to absorb some of the sound Americans make while dining.
