Prime rib was good. Salad bar very fresh. Sides were just OK. Desserts were just OK. Pies were not homemade crusts & way too much artificial whip cream. Wait staff were super friendly & attentive. Artifacts & giant mural were very interesting.Thank you for taking the time to write us a review.

This is a local coffee/hangout place in a small town. That said, the coffee was an 8 out of 10 and the oatmeal was the best I ever had (and I'm an experienced oatmeal taster.) breakfast sandwiches and pastries are also available.

I visited just about half an hour before closing. The server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the NY strip steak with sweet potato fries and the salad bar. There were many items on the salad bar and I very much enjoyed the thick, creamy, delightful ranch dressing. The steak was thick and tender. The light seasonings brought out the natural flavor of the steak and it was delicious! The sweet potato fries were served with maple syrup. I found that to be a unique and tasty dip for the fries. By accident, I dipped a piece of steak and found that to be quite pleasurable to my palate! Prices were quite reasonable.

West End Restaurant

Busy as heck. We sat at the counter (which was dirty), and no one even acknowledged us for well over 5 minutes. Had to flag down a server walking by. I ordered the grilled tenderloin daily special. It included mac 'n cheese, green beans, a dinner roll, and sherbet. The roll and sherbet were served, first, well ahead of time. Strange. My wife had the hamburger and fries. The unsweetened iced tea was decent. They were obviously stressed out with the volume of business. While the food was acceptable, the service was lacking. It'll be a while, before we give them another chance.

Indiana Pancake House

Their menu has about anything you would think of in a Midwest small town restaurant. But the fun part is the serving sizes. You can get breakfast at any time and you always get one more egg than you order? Their sides of fruit ar fresh and delicious. The taco salad is plentiful and delicious. Their pancakes have a very slight sweet taste and they are light and yummy. Their beef Manhatten fills the entire large plate it is served on. Servers are extra friendly and efficient. Never disappointed here.

It's not a regular restaurant. It's not your typical small town diner. It has its own little niche along US 27 in Decatur. Friendly service, clean facilities, scrumptious food. We enjoyed the Malibu Chicken and Fish Tacos. Both were great. The Malibu probably a bit more filling than the tacos, but guess that makes sense. The home made soup board led us to substitute that instead of the home cut fries. (Saving for another visit!) Cream of Asparagus was available; We ordered and did not regret! Buttermilk pie was splendid. all home made on the spot. You can't go wrong!

We found this restaurant rated highly online---and we agree. Don't let its crummy strip mall setting fool you: this restaurant is the real deal. Service was fast, the food was fabulous, and the prices reasonable. I loved my burrito/fajita; one of the best Mexican dishes I've ever eaten. My wife complained to the waiter that her fajita lacked the promised mushrooms; a few minutes later they brought her a whole new one, which she absolutely adored. If you are ever near Decatur, Indiana and have a hunkering for Mexican, this is the place for you. By the way, we were there on a Friday night, and the place was packed with locals.
