After reading the reviews, I wanted to love the charm and food here.

Pros-free parking and a super friendly counter attendant.

Cons-reading it was a deli, I was expecting to be able to get a cold cut type sandwich. They have a very small menu that only has breakfast type sandwiches or a hot dog. Given that I already told the attendant I was starving, felt obligated to order something.

Ended up with the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel and an iced coffee. The bagel was soft but nothing outside a supermarket purchased one

I asked for super crispy bacon which I got...kind of.

I thought I would find the inside charming but instead it was a lot of clutter.

Might be a great breakfast stop but with so many other choices in downtown, I would reconsider for lunch.

We had reservations on a very quiet Thursday night before the long holiday weekend. Per request, we were seated in a quiet area overlooking downtown. What service! We were the only one's seated in this section because of the request. Now, that is South Dakota nice! Service was knowledgable, friendly, and attentive - even as the rest of the restaurant got busier in the other sections as the night wore on. Food was spectacular. Two had the buffalo ribeye and it was melt-in-your-mouth. Pork Osso Bucco came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. It was delicious over the wild rice, veggie medley. ?Buffalo ravioli was the 4th dish and she ate it all, so we didn't get to taste! We also started with the wild boar wontons (I believe they were called). Really delicious. They have a nice selections of wines at all price points as well. Couldn't have been better - sums it up!
