Dalfsen ( pronunciation (help·info), Dutch Low Saxon: Dalsen) is a municipality and a town in the Salland region of the Dutch province of Overijssel. The municipality of Dalfsen was increased to its current size on 1 January 2001 through the amalgamation of the municipalities of Nieuwleusen and Dalfsen.

On the 23rd of January 2016 we ate at the Auberge 't Asje. Me and my gay husband and my three sisters and two brothers and their wives and husbands. We always have a New Years family Dinner. This time my youngest sister and her husband chose the restaurant.
The place is in the middle of nowhere (small village) but it's easy to find with navigation.
I guess it used to be a farmers place. Anyway we were welcomed with a sweet variation of prosecco (kir royalle). Then we had 7 courses.
First a tartar of tuna and gambas. Then carpaccio of veal. Then eel soup, then coquilles and then duck and after that cheese platter and last but not least white chocolate ice with orange mousse. It was all really nice prepared and the cook explained every dish with great enthusiasm. We definitely can recommend this place. We had a great time. The staff was really pleasant and kind.
Two dumbs up!

Had a couple of very nice dinners and lunches here over the years.
Very friendly staff, great location in winter and summer time.
Food is tasty whether your are in for a quick lunch or long lazy dinner evening.
Highly recommended when visiting this beautiful area of the Netherlands.

The White Goose is located in the forest near Dalfsen, 10 minutes drive from Zwolle. In this restaurant with a rustic, rural but also contemporary atmosphere, you can enjoy modern international inspired dishes form our open kitchen. In summer we have a beautiful Terrace in our garden. In winter we offer a romantic setting with a our fireplace.

This restaurant has a Michelin bib gourmand, which means it offers excellent food at outstanding value. My partner and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there and it turned out to be an excellent choice.
The ambiance was pleasant (busy on Friday night) the staff attentive but not intrusive and they offer a quality price combination not available elsewhere within the Randstad. One of my best dining experiences in Holland! It was lovely walking past the gaggling geese as well. Definitely want to go back around Christmas time!

Ruime menukeuze. Eenvoudige inrichting. Bediening vriendelijk en rap.
Een chefkok die zich ook nog laat zien. Met een groep kun je verschillende
activiteiten in het bos organiseren, met ondersteuning van beschikbare gereedschappen.

The food is always fresh and good here. We had dinner here several times lately, and tried many of the dishes offered. We have not been dissappointed yet. Very friendly owner and staff. You can eat here individually or in large groups, but they always try their best.

A good place, close to the town. The facilities makes you feel at home. The restaurant is good. Nevertheless they do not have information in English or other languages even in their website, so is a good point of improvement.

Good news: food was good. Really. Rest is bad news. No smile at all with the staff, waiting a lot, kids getting bored, no response when asking for service. Poorest experience ever. Never again for us.

Restaurant Aan de Oever, a chic and urban style restaurant with a spacious open kitchen as the eye-catcher and a stunning view of the Vechtdal. It is the only restaurant in the area which is located right on the Vecht river in a completely natural setting. The menu is prepared using beautiful, honest produce in a fusion of French and traditional Dutch cuisine. Vegetables play an important role in our menu. If the weather’s fine, we are happy to set up a table outside for you, and when it’s chillier we can serve you an aperitif in front of the open fire.

This is a restaurant one can highly recommend - The food service is elegant and has extraordinary taste.
I would call it restaurant star level as its been awhile I had diner at a restaurant where your taste buds are really spoiled.
Would like to thank the restaurant hostess, staff and not to forget kitchenstaff for an amazing evening
