We stopped in at the Chippewa Family Restaurant. The waffle with strawberry and whipped cream was delicious. Their breakfast food is always good. You can't go wrong with their lunch and dinner options either. We ate at a busy time, but service wasn't lacking.

4:30 AM Coffee Shop

Reviewed By ChippewaJohnson - Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin

I've been to the 4:30 am Coffee Shop several times in the past. It is a nice place for small group meetings or to catch up with a friend. My latest visit was through the drive up window...my teenage daughter was having a really rough morning and needed to talk and cry, while I just listened and offered a few words of encouragement. I thought a nice spiced chai tea and then a long car ride would give my daughter the space she needed to talk things out. She definitely wouldn't have gotten out to get anything to drink and didn't want to wait while I went in somewhere to get the tea. The drive thru window was perfect and the woman who waited on us was wonderful. I think she saw what was going on...and took care of us - quickly, efficiently, with a note of empathy. It was the perfect solution...and after a car ride to Jim Falls and back, my daughter was feeling much better and even laughing. THANKS. This is exactly what is great about living in Chippewa Falls.

Too many good things to say about Olson's Ice Cream to list hear, but it should be a must-stop for anybody visiting Chippewa Falls. The "interesting" ice cream cone out front is somewhat of a landmark but don't let that sway you from enjoyiing the delicious ice cream. The seating is very limited and you'll probably have to wait in line in the summer, but it's worth it. They also have sorbet, malts, shakes and sandwiches.

I don't eat Mexican food that much but always wanted to try this restaurant, when you sit down they give you chips and salsa and then hand u a giant menu, tonight I had a combo platter with cheese enchilada, beef burrito, refried beans and Spanish rice, my wife had the mini chimichangas supreme which included 2 shrimp, 1 steak and 1 beef chimi, with lettuce, pico de gallo and sour cream, and guacamole and we both had diet Pepsi, the service was good, very friendly people and prices were reasonable $26.89 for our dinner with tip it came to $31.89, the menu was like a small novel lol, I recommend this restaurant for a very good meal, they have many choices plus all there combo platters are either $8.25 or $8.99.

Bridge Street Brew

Reviewed By Eldereaglewatcher - Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin

My daughter and granddaughter both go to Bridge Street Brew for coffee and tea, which they say is really good. I went with my daughter recently, and my latte was fine (I'm not a coffee connoisseur). The decor is interesting and beautiful, retaining the character of the old building but modernized for comfort. We shared a fresh strawberry crepe, which was large (see photo) and delicious! Crepes are served until 11AM. They also have bakery items (soon to have on-site bakery), sandwiches and salads. The descriptions look delicious. Whether you're in downtown Chippewa Falls or just passing through on business 29, Bridge Street Brew is definitely worth a stop. Beverages are ordered and picked up at the counter. Food orders are delivered to your table.

Essentially and old fashioned department store with deli. We met for lunch with good selection of tasty deli food, which we ate in the small dining area of the attached department store. While enjoying the food, you are captivated by the well organized brightly lit and delightful store, which of course led to after lunch shopping, including wine purchased for later gathering. great introduction to our bike group 3 days in Chippewa Falls.

Found this place through Tripadvisor/YELP. Spending one night in the area. Found your place. Quite a gem with friendly staff and the sushi rolls that were loaded with fish! No corners cut. We ate on Monday night and the place was busy! Prices reasonable. Only would ask that they turn down the music a bit while dining. Go you will not be disappointed!

Stopped into this eatery expecting deep fried foods & burgers only to find craft beers, lamb shank specials & heapingly delicious salads!

Seat yourself, there was only one person working on deer hunting Saturday when the place was decently busy. Took a bit to get a menu, but the waitress was relatively quick to come back to take orders.

We ordered the special, Fried Green Tomatoes, which were great!

For my meal, I ordered the Beet Salad which came with goat cheese, chicken, sweet potato chips on top and walnuts, everything was great, except I couldn't eat the entire meal! It was a very deep and full bowl for the salad & the spinach was fresh and the vinaigrette was delicious.

Great, cozy atmosphere and they had a beer I love, Founders Breakfast Stout... yum!
Would certainly return, but I would hope that the waitstaff might be having a better day and sport a smile once in a while. ;)

We met family here for lunch last weekend. We arrived early and ordered an appetizer - cheese curds. They were the best curds I've ever had. They were light and fluffy and oh so good!!! Everyone tried something different so we got a nice sampling of the menu. My daughter ordered the gyro and she said it was very flavorful. The bacon cheeseburger was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The italian beef sandwich was good and tender. The chicken salad was big enough to feed a family of 4. My husband and I shared a small taco pizza as that seemed to be a favorite according to TripAdvisor reviews. It was good but I've had better. The waitress was amazing - Danielle I think was her name. She really spent alot of time with us when we arrived as it was quiet. By the time we left it was standing room only and she still made time to stop and chat and check in on us. We didn't have an opportunity to wander around outside as it was raining; there was an outdoor bar, bags game, and a huge dome. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
