The restaurant is located in a beautiful historic building. Unusually for Ecuador, the restaurant lighting is soft and atmospheric and the walls are adorned with lots of interesting artefacts.
The food was very good. We both had sea bass with shrimp sauce served with rice and red cabbage. Service was very courteous. Our only reservation was the cost of the meal relative to other restaurants and the amount of food served as the portions are fairly small.

The establishment has several ambiences, decorated for giving a friendly, warm sensation to the customer. We count with a private security guard in the parking section, centralized audio system, flat screen, bar, wi-fi and many other services ready for the customer requirements. All credit cards are received.

We went early which meant we were the only ones there so can't comment on the atmosphere as there wasn't one!
The burritos were pretty average - slightly cold in the middle and had been deep fried which we found odd but maybe that's how some people like them!
All in all, ok if you've been travelling and your taste buds fancy a change but don't expect it to compare to Mexican food at home.

This place was nice to hang out in for a while, as Riobamba itself was quite a disappointment. They serve "black dog" ale, which was quite nice. A constant mash-up of 80's music was playing in the background. - yesmads.com

Ended up having dinner here because it was one of the few places open after 9:30 p.m. The pizza was decent but not exceptional. Service was OK. For some reason all the menu items (like the restaurant itself) are named after Italian footballers. Downtown Riobamba doesn't seem to be blessed with many interesting restaurants -- unlike, say, Cuenca, Quito or even Banos -- so this place may not be a bad choice.

Recent dinner here was with a large party (+15) and we were seated downstairs in a private dinning room. Service was very attentive. Meal was well prepared. Overall a good time and we look forward to eating here again with a smaller group to experience the upstairs ambiance.

This has been the first time in many months since traveling where I had a real Italian Pizza. The pizzeria gets its mark by sourcing the best local ingredients, great aged cheese, great salamis and prosciutto and hand-made tomato sauce and dough, the Italian way. The place is managed by it's owner - Italian living in Ecuador, who is also the pizzero.

There are not too many good eating places in Alausi but this place was recommended by our hosteria. It produces excellent thin crust Pizzas. We opted for a medium vegetarian pizza with mozerella cheese which had a good selection of vegetables, very tasty and perfectly flavoured with herbs. Friendly owner, highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant has a modern, linear, environment with indoor and outdoor illumination, volcanic rocks, carved furniture, and showcases. Our Menu is detailed and delicate. Recipes are prepared the moment you order to rescue the true principle of a good restaurant: the food is prepared by the chef at everyone's sight, in ceramic cookware. This is how he transmits his philosophy of life through food and rescues the body and soul of those who taste it.

"Muy exclusiva," murmured our taxista as we arrived at a modest-appearing corner in a middle-class residential neighborhood overlooking Riobamba. Inside, the decor was spare-modern, with the kitchen and mall dining area presented as an integrated unit. We were seated by a picture window overlooking the city lights. Our young waiter, almost embarrassingly attentive, served a series of exquisite and sometimes fascinating presentations, starting with mini tortillas--puffy corn cakes-- served with 3 sauces, each in its own mini-well bored into a chunk of lava. As part of one main course, a prawn finished cooking itself on a slab of hot lava. Most memorable for my wife and me, because it added as much to flavor, was the introduction of some sort of molecular gastronomy magic to the fish ceviche appetizer. When the chef added a marinade at our table, the dish erupted in "smoke"; the marinade then crystallized into little cold bits that released more puffs of "smoke" into our breaths, and intense flavor onto our palates, as we ate. The waiter explained that the dish married the Ecuadoran coast--the fish--with the cold and clouds of nearby Volcan Chimborazo, Ecuador's highest peak at more than 20,000 feet. Of all the delicious dishes served that night, this was our favorite, a lovely marriage of concept and flavor.
And while the price of the three-course meal for two was high for the average Ecuadoran salary, it was a bargain by US standards for this level of excellence. The pre-tip total of $80 included cocktails and coffee.

Not only was the food exceptional but the atmosphere and the service was really good too. In addition, the building is beautiful and nicely decorated inside. We came here for dinner and feared that it would be too touristy, but it did not feel like that. There seemed to be a good mix of locals and tourists and a nice atmosphere. The manager apologised for not coming over to our table within five minutes of us sitting down. It didn't bother us and in any case the service from then on was really good. The menu was varied. We did not have to wait long for the food, even though they were busy. I had an amazing tilapia fish fillet, with vegetables, french fries and a big bowl of rice! Lovely after dinner drink too.
