I think this one of my fave sundanese restaurant. Located in the center of Palangkaraya even if its not o the main road.
The food taste is close to original and the way they dress up the food is also intresting.
The price is very reasonable.
Mostly packed during lunch time.

The restaurant looks very bad from outside. Almost no one was eating and it's not charming at all.
BUT...once you get your food you'll get fantastic seafood and river fish. All is freshly cooked and really really tasty. I suggest the big river prawn!
Also is one of the few restaurant in Pangkalan Bun!

If You like to eat fish and seafood, this is the right place You must try. You can achieve this restaurant from Sendy's Supermarket, go straight on, then turn right, go to Jl. Irian, 1 aisle before the last aisle You go to Jl., Bangka, where is this restaurant be.Try to taste many special food, like IKAN JELAWAT GORENG or UDANG GORENG MENTEGA Singkawang. Please taste it

Been here for few times and so far still becoming one of the place where i spend most of my time Reading book.
despite they are located in not so crowded mall anymore, this restaurant surely has something to offer. the foods are quite nice, the drinks are surprisingly good. the wifi connection is not bad, and the live music is something that pleased your ears.
personally, i love their Passion fruit beer (hope i write it right), it is refreshing. It's been two months i keep back and forth, but still their Baram (Baram is local traditional drink) is not available, hope that soon they'll have it in order for me to try.
The waiters are super friendly, few times i didn't realize that they already closed because i am too concentrating on my book, and guessed what?? they are not disturbing at all. when i asked them do they closed yet, with smile upon their faces they said that they closed since almost an hour back. DEFINITELY my fave by far in this city.

If you just need to eat unique traditional foods of Palangkaraya, this restaurant is one of the answer.
If you are a nature lover and need to eat while exploring Kahayang River as the famous and biggest river in Palangkaraya, this restaurant is also the answer.
If you need to eat in a clean and cozy place, this restaurant definitely not the answer :)
I gave 4 for the food, 4 for the river view and 2 for the clean aspect and service :)
Food is good especially if you are curious about unique food. Fishes are the main menu here. You can try Jelambat or Lais fish here. Yummy. Dare yourself to taste rattan root soup!
River view is great (except in side the restaurant). From the restaurant we can see Kahayang River and the forest across the river. I visited here at night and got some nice photos. Try to come here around 4-5 pm then you can see the view when the sun still shining until the dark will coming. I don't about the sunset, is it possible to see from here or not.
The worst thing is they need a very very long time to prepare the foods :(. I waited around 45 minutes while I visited there at night and only view guest came. Imagine if you come at noon...... The driver & guide told me that they use fresh fish so they need to clean it first etc.
Actually the building (made from wood) is ok and quite new, but the environment a little bit dirty. may be because I visited there when the river water receding. I imagine if the river water is high tide it will be more beautiful view there.
Aaaah don't forget to choose chairs by the river, the closest one with the river. It's a must!

My wife and me come this RM Pelangi; RM=rumah makan=warung=simple restaurant; pelangi=rainbow;
This place popular in this town, many people come to here.
I try order jelawat fish / manjuhan, the expensive one and people said that the delicious fish.
But for me that average, some like another fish, maybe i not maniac with fish. And at the end when pay to cashier, my wife and me smile, the price is expensive for us.
Should be i ask the waiter for sure total price before order.
But nice experiance :d

Good restaurant in town. Located in Mentaya riverside, this restaurant offers floating culinary trip. It means that you can enjoy your food while the boat is floating along the Mentaya River to bring you closer to the life of the locals.

Kalau anda ingin tempat nongkrong asyik bersama teman sambil minum kopi, Ego Coffee bisa jadi pilihan yang oke. Tempatnya di pinggir jalan raya besar, mudah dicari dengan tempat parkir yang lumayan karena ada di komplek ruko. Sering dibuat event khusus disini dan kita bisa dapatkan diskon tertentu sesuai event itu, manfaatkan! :)

This place is one of my fav restaurants. Well known with grilled fishes, and local menu. Fresh fish and grilled with using traditional grill. I recommend this place for tourists. This place is also close to souvenirs market. It walks only 3 minutes to the shops of souvenirs.
