Center Moriches (/moʊˈrɪtʃɪz/ ( listen) moh-RITCH-iz) is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 7,580 at the 2010 census. Center Moriches is in the town of Brookhaven. It is the location of the historic Masury Estate Ballroom and Terry-Ketcham Inn, both listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

We loved the luncheon at Trumpets restaurant. Our group of 10 retired teachers met at this beautiful place, where the sea breeze, the sunshine, the view made a most wonderful afternoon. The food was delicious some of us had the lobsters, the salmon, the pre fix lunch choice. The service was very kind and helpful.
Looking forward to come back again.

The last time I wrote, I could not believe people gave Moriches Bay an excellent rating.
The place has been fixed up, the food is good, but it is still not like the better diners on Long Island.
Maybe it is in the area which it is, we could use some better restaurants in the area.

The place looks boring on the outside, but the tasty goodness inside is incredible! We ordered cookies, cannoli, a cream horn ( kind of like a sugar donut with cannoli filling inside) and they were absolutely awesome!!!! The line was out the door when I walked in and I understand why. Absolutely worth stopping in. Everything was fresh and so very awesome!

We had an excellent dinner here. Appetizers, entrees, dessert - all very tasty and nicely presented. My wife had the filet mignon. It was cooked medium to perfection. My almond crusted flounder was great too - maybe just a touch to overwhelming with the almonds slightly overpowering the fish. The spaghetti with butter and garlic were to die for. Could have been a supper by itself.
Service was very friendly and attentive and the pace of the dinner was just right. No rush, reasonably timed breaks between courses but not too slow either.
Overall one of the best dinner experiences we had on Long Island.

If you are a real long islander, you have an opinion on where to get the best egg sandwich (aka breakfast special if your over 30.)
Petes is my favorite! Best bagels, eggs, and prices from Center Moriches to speonk. Friendly service and a clean, inviting environment make it a nice option for an inexpensive Sunday family breakfast.
Keep doing what you are doing Bernadette and crew!

JCs is such a warm and inviting, family oriented atmosphere. We are always greeted with a smile!
The marinated burger is a must have and they always have delicious specials. Large drink menu and yummy desserts. Indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the golf course. A must visit for lunch or dinner in Manorville!

For a brand new place the service was amazing!!! The food was exquisite! Tapas style with spanish flare. We ordered so much food! the patatas bravos was my favorite. Smaller portions yet enough to share. The skirt steak was cooked to perfection! The owner came around multiple times to check on us as well as the chef! They have both indoor and outdoor seating with views that were to die for at sunset! WILL DEFINITELY be back for more!

I am not a seafood eater: however, they have some of the best burgers. If you love seafood, you may want to dine in. I get takeout to avoid the "aroma".
