Definitely the best Italian Cantina in Campo Grande. Try the Fettuccini al limone or the Fettuccini al funghi.. my favorites. Their eggplant entree is also excellent. Dishes are well served, you won't leave hungry.

I never expected to find such a sophisticated restaurant in Campo Grande. If this place was in Rio or Sao Paulo, it would be a great success.
The room is very pleasantly decorated. You feel like you are in a rustic farm restaurant, however with class and sophistication.
The menu is obviously grilled meat-oriented. The appetizers and side dishes had a creative spin on the typical meat place, without straying too far from it's roots. The wine list provided an extensive selection of South American wines. Nothing spectacular, but all the basic wines were represented.
The service was excellent. Our server was well trained and knew the menu very well. The food arrived quickly and the transfer from appetizer to main course was well timed.
The steaks were not the most flavorful that I have ever tasted, but it was not enough to take a star away from the overall review. The appetizers and side dishes were all excellent.
The overall experience was excellent and if I ever get back to Campo Grande, I will certainly be back at Vermelho Grill. I wish we had one in Rio...perhaps I will open up a franchise...

The Casa do Peixe is a fish restaurant with a couple of options: one can choose the Rodizio (all you can eat both fish and the buffet (with salad, beans and rice, desserts etc.), or one can order a dish that typically will serve two people. The Rodizio is about $30 per person and ordering a dish to be shared is about $17 each for two people. The food is excellent as is the service. I enjoyed the many choices both of the fish and the buffet of side dishes/salads. I highly recommend this restaurant if one is in Campo Grande and likes to eat fish. I think that most of the fish options were fish from the local rivers, but I don't really know for sure. I also enjoyed the side dishes from the buffet, and the dessert bar was good too, especially the mousse de maracuja (marvelous). I highly recommend this place to eat.

Not sure how this place has such good ratings. Pros-It's cheap and the staff are friendly (NB none speak English) but the cons-the pizza is pretty shocking-soggy base with half a centimetre of melted cheese on top with toppings (more cheese in my case) on top of that. Go elsewhere!

Such a great place to eat for meat lovers! You might be asked to wait for a table, but it'll be okay since the furniture is fun to be in, really resembles a safari! The juices are very good and homemade. No place for vegetarians/vegan though.

If you have to spend a night in Campo Grande, before you continue to the Pantanal or to Bonito, you should eat in the restaurant Villa du pizza (pizza's villa), located on the main avenue (Av Afonso Contact No. 4329).
Large restaurant and excellent service. Very large number of waiters - polite and very friendly. Excellent pizza, we ate 0.5 meter pizza, wide. Appropriate size for three hungry people. We chose pizza palmitic - this pizza with hearts of palm and bits of meat, was excellent! They have a huge selection of pizzas and the price is worth every bite!
We gave up the Coke and chose to drink natural juices - we loved the lemon juice (Soco de Mao).

Restaurante excelente !
Fomos para almoçar, churrascaria completa com cortes de cartes do Brasil e da Argentina. Menu completo de saladas, além da cozinha árabe. Tudo muito bom desde o atendimento até o cafézinho feito no coador !! Valeu muito a pena! Eles tem estacionamento próprio. Recomendo !

The food (we all had the meat) was excellent. But forget the rest. All our cocktails were just ice, ice and ice. You have to look for a mere taste of something, not mentioning the alcool...
I complained and they changed... only mine!
The staff is far too numerous, when your glass is half empty, they run to fill it up so you can order a new bottle. Very annoying after a certain time.
A place where the main target is to make money quickly...

Esfiras, coalhada e pasta de grão de bico bem feitas. Ideal para um almoço rápido. O único detalhe negativo foi que eles se recusaram a emitir a nota fiscal!
