As the title suggests I opted for the Big Breakfast. Wow. I've had a lot of brekkys out and this is by far the Best value in town ! I've had it twice now and can tell you it's enough for 2 to share. I don't know what they put in that pulled pork but it is like fairies dancing on your tongue
Generous serves of crispy bacon, eggs cooked to perfection, scrummy mushies, the woke thing is just great. Can't wait to go back for round 3.

Great place to eat and play the pokies ,Visitors were welcome all the time and reception staff were great they helpful with things to do in Bundaberg .The meals were excellent and a good price next time I am in town I shall return

Mostly very good. There were three of us for lunch. It was our first meal of the day, so one of us wanted breakfast, which they graciously agreed to. The first sign of a potential problem was when they bought 2 sets of cutlery. And then two meals arrived. We checked with the waiter, who said that the third meal was on its way. About 10 mins later he returned to query what the third meal was. A few minutes later he returned again to apologise that he had actually forgotten to put the third meal on the order. It arrived about the time two of us had finished our meal. It should have been a sign when they were providing cutlery & meals for two to a table, with 3 people, to at least check. Despite this minor setback, the food and atmosphere were very good and we will return.

Had the alfredo risotto and a pizza takeaway. The risotto was really nice, sadly the pizza was soggy on the bottom, not cooked enough.
While waiting in the restaurant we noted the great atmosphere, nicely decorated, friendly staff and the Italian smells were divine! Next time we will stay to dine in and see if things are better.

Grunske's By The River is casual relaxed dining café style restaurant with fantastic views of the Burnett River. Our large undercover deck, covered outdoor eating area and downstairs covered river Terrace with child friendly fencing provides a variety of Seating choices for our customers. Grunske's has extensive off road parking that welcomes caravaners etc. Our extensive menu show cases fresh local seafood products and includes a variety of non seafood dishes - all of which are available dine in or takeaway. While your here duck into our seafood market (located in the same building) specialising in quality local seafood, meat and small goods and take home an esky full of Bundaberg's delights. We even have bait and ice and can pack your seafood for travel. Grunske's is open most days but please confirm trading hours for public holidays.

We called in last weekend on recommendation from a local. We strolled through the fresh seafood cool room and was totally disappointed. The fresh fillets of fish were dry and didn't look enticing. We also noticed the fillets of beef were leaking blood all over the bacon rashers on the bottom shelf. Very unhygienic. Couldn't get out of there quick enough. Walked through to the cafe area and was surprised that it wasn't air conditioned. It was too humid to sit out on the deck.

Needed a coffee break before visiting Bundaberg Brewed Drinks and found this absolute gem in the market area nextdoor. This store features a gorgeous collection of homewares, fashion items and gifts but tucked away at the back is a delightful cafe that serves delicious cakes and yummy coffee and Chai lattes. Definitely worth a visit to enjoy the whole experience - the shop and cafe!!

What a pleasant surprise it was having dinner here tonight. You sure won’t leave here hungry! The quality of the steak was very very good. Staff were attentive without being over the top. I will definitely come back! Family friendly.... great atmosphere! Thumbs up ??

I had dinner here solo- bruschetta- bread a little not to my taste but the topping was delicious. Chicken schnitzel was fantastic - best I’ve had. Dessert was a bit interesting tried the red velvet waffle which had ?balsalmic vinegar sauce- a bit of an unusual taste

Thbis place is such a surprise. Walking pas it a few time I thought, Yes its a backpacker place. I was pleasantly surprised, there are even a few locals to talk to. We attended a country music event here and was the perfect environment for a quaint small personalized event. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect. Have had weekend breakfast here also as a couple and was lovely.Thanks so much for your feedback. We really enjoy these little events and hope to continue them in the future. It is still early days but we are so glad you enjoyed it.
