Ate lunch while in Bowie. Had the special, which was excellent. Hamburger steak, boiled potatoes, green beans, Texas toast & dessert + drink! Had the brownie sundae; so delicious. Wonderful experience. Step back in time & enjoy. Be sure to make a reservation.

The old main street of Bowie has lovely old buildings. The rustic walls on the inside just added to the charm. My friend and I were passing through and stopped for a very late lunch. Glad they were open, because the food was good and so was the service.

The is a small local Bakery that also serves lunch five days a week. Definitely a must if you like home cooking. Thursdays is always meatloaf and it is very good. Great Service and Staff.

Food was good, the menu looked well rounded. The service was very lacking. When asking about different wines, the bartender was stumped. She had no idea about anything on the alcohol menu. The waitress was not attentive. Educate your staff and we will be back.

Wow!! I can't say how much we enjoyed our meal with this DQ. We had their fried fish meal. This was one of the best fried fish we ever had. Stop by and give this DQ a try. The staff is very friendly!!!

Had dinner there. The food and service was great. Clean establishment and restrooms. Good cold beer and the wife had a raspberry margarita, which was good. The building was old, but don't let that stop you. I would return if I am in the area.

Have been to this place several times and always found the food to be good. You can go buffet or order from the menu. The place is usually pretty busy but have not had to ever wait on a table. Good country style food and have never been disappointed. Staff is great

This was our second choice in Bowie. The service was good and the cost reasonable but the food was average. We ordered from both the lunch menu and the regular menu. Not clear it made any difference. I ordered the chicken fried chicken but in the end I could not differentiate from the fried chicken. The crust was crisp and the chicken breast moist but the gravy was absolutely bland and not thickened. I used a significant amount of pepper to give it taste to eat. The fries were warm and tasty. The chopped sirloin was good but it was greasy. The roast beef sandwich was very good. I would say that this is probably the best in Bowie.

They could remove the fake ivy and improve the lighting but this is a small town so I suppose they have to chose between decor or food. They serve home style food hot and with pleasant service The Fettuccine Alfredo is very good. The eggplant parm
had too many tomatoes for me. The sauce over powered the eggplant, but that is personal preference. The Garlic Cheese Bread was very tasty.

WOW!!! This is one of those places that everything is really good!!!! You will NOT go wrong with the bone in wings (medium was plenty of spice!), the Philly sandwich was tender and full of flavor, the mushroom burger my daughter had was amazing, the jalapeño cold slaw was amazing....we didn't have anything bad! After eating here, I would prefer the chips to their fries, but that might be personal taste!
