I had breakfast with a group of car enthusiasts mid January. The Eggs Benedict were very good.
So good, that I decided to bring my life partner for lunch today. We arrived, were seated to a half full house about noon. Coffee immediately on the table with the lunch menu.
From there it was downhill - on the menu were 7 house favourites, 10 hot sandwiches and three wraps. The only things available were 1 of the 10 sandwiches, none of the three wraps BUT ALL of the 7 house favourites that we did not care for - mashed potatoes, cooked veggies not a great lunch accompaniment that we were seeking at that time of day.
Should have paid for the coffee and left but we did not and after a long wait ordered the only sandwich available - the Santa Fe. Sandwich was OK but not spectacular. The tortilla chips and salsa disgusting. Stale and watery.
Getting the bill for this mess another long wait. Finally got the attention of another server to pay our bill. That was an adventure in itself as nobody knew the computer system did not accept a foreign card without a pin.
I did leave a tip for the person who helped us the hell out.
Will not be back or recommend.

We stopped off in Blanco on our way to San Antonio and found this gem of a coffee shop right on the town square. It has delicious homemade pastries, quiche, brownies and more tempting treats. They also have great coffee and Lattes. There is ample room for groups or a cozy couch for couples. Or, you can sit out front and do some people watching. They also have local artist paintings on display for sale. Everything is very neat and clean. The young couple who have the shop are a delight to visit with. We were very glad to find this bistro and hope to return.

Drove through Blanco on my way to another town in the hill country. This little Dairy Queen was a nice place to stop for a refreshing snack. Right off the main road, easy in and out.

My only complaint was that they told me they no longer sell hot dogs in any size. I don't know if this is true of the whole chain, or just this particular Dairy Queen. I was sorry I couldn't get my hot dog!

Great find. It is a hole in the wall place with good food. Our group ordered the salmon and orzo special and we enjoyed every bite! If you want wine with dinner, bring your own. Jesse makes the most fabulous pies, make sure you leave room for a slice. Thanks to Willie our waiter for making us feel welcome. Best of luck to Joe & Jessie. We shall return.

Thought I was going to have breakfast here, but missed the cutoff, so I had lunch. Ordered the burger fries combo. The fries are hand cut and well prepared. The burger didn't make my top 10 list, as it was over cooked and not to tasty because of that. I waited quite a while for the food. I would still go back, but next time for their well known breakfast. Hey folks this Blanco Texas, not a fast food haven, but the neighborly service and good attiitude make up for a lot.

Excellent mexican food and unbelievable prices, 3 breakfat tacos for $2.99, friendly staff, clean

Stopped in for lunch after a morning of fishing at Blanco State Park. What a pleasant surprise! Small family-owned place with an extensive menu to choose from. We tried the Mexican Combo Plate (beef enchilada, cheese enchilada, crispy taco, rice & beans) and the carne asada plate. Both were excellent. Queso was thin, but tasty, and chips were freshly made. The house salsa served with chips was mild but flavorful. If you want to spice it up, they also have a salsa verde and a spicy red, both of which are homemade. Highly recommend, and we will definitely return.

Delicious pizza! Wow. Very impressed.
We lived in Fort Worth area for 8yrs and never could find decent pizza unless we drove the +40miles in to the city.
We are not fans of Dominos, Pizza Hut or all those typical national chains.
We like AUTHENTIC Italian style pizza.
This place delivers just that.

We will never buy store bought pizza again as long as this place is open.

The back room is gorgeous, too.
Shade trees and picture windows.
Lovely.
