Big screen T.V's and a giant projector screen for all sporting events. Games room with pool tables, foosball and video games. Plus 20 carefully selected beers on tap. Great place for a quick lunch and the place to party at night. Children welcome till 7pm. 2 Pieces of I.D. Required after 7pm.
Great steakhouse in Happy Valley. Highly recommended for red meat eaters. My husband and I shared the 50 oz. tomahawk steak! So delicious! The dish came with mashed potatoes and a veggie medley. We had so much leftovers that it made a great meal itself the next day. FYI - The restaurant is not kid friendly.

WELCOME TO BLACK DIAMOND BAR AND GRILL The Black Diamond Bar & Grill is a Contemporary Canadian Restaurant with an elegant bar and thoughtful wine list. The airy minimally adorned dining room features creamy walls and an old stone fireplace. Candlelight and comfortable banquettes create an atmosphere of whispered intimacy.
The Black Diamond is a great restaurant catering for all tastes.
The staff are absolutely great and are very enthusiastic and attentive.
We visited there as my son is doing a Snowboard instructors course in this resort and he recommended the Black Diamond as being one of the best restaurants in resort.
We were in a group of 6 and to start we all has the hot chicken wings. They were fantastic. For my main I had the seafood linguine and my husband had the New York steak and both were cooked to perfection.
I would recommend a visit to this little gem for anyone visiting Big White resort.

Nestled into the Happy Valley Day Lodge at the bottom of the Lara's Gondola, The Kettle Valley Steakhouse is an upscale oasis for fine hospitality, great steaks and an extensive Okanagan wine list. A great steakhouse starts with its beef and we have made the commitment to use only the best Certified Angus Beef and has been aged a minimum of 28 days. To accompany the world class beef program, the seafood selection conforms to Oceanwise certifications for its sustainability to ensure that it is not only the freshest and of the highest quality, but it is also responsibly managed and farmed. An easy match with all the food offerings is our Okanagan-centric wine list with a strong focus on the varietals that are proving to be world beaters like award winning Pinot Noir and Syrah. We are fortunate to have a burgeoning wine industry with an ever increasing supply of fantastic wines that showcase special terroir of the Okanagan Valley.
Was abit hesitant to come here for dinner. Perused the menu before coming, looked expensive and thus wasn't sure if we would get value for money. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was delicious, we even got complimentary amuse bouche and house made bread which was very delicious. The fillet mignon in the kids menu was well worth it too. We left too full to have dessert. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Casually upscale Tapas & Trattoria with cool bar and great local wine selection. Spanish & Italian influence in the deliciously different Tapas menu , with family style dining in one area. Offering Trattoria style gourmet thin crust pizzas and hearty share-able pasta bowls. A separate area houses Globe's European style coffee shop and serves rich, smooth Caffe Umbria specialty coffees with a selection of healthy soup, Sandwich and salad options, together with a great wine list and full cocktail bar.
The food in the Globe is a solid 3, unpretentious, honest and well tasting. However, the service and the laid-back cosiness makes the Globe experience a great 4 :) We really appreciated the hospitality, the chatting and the feel-good atmosphere, and were we in Big...MoreThanks for the review...much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed the famous cosiness and friendly service we've become known for....look forward to serving you again on your next visit!

We hoped for a special dining experience for our family while staying in Big White and based on other reviews we were expecting something special. For $800 for a party of 6, we were quite disappointed. Serving sizes were very small...our children had entrees and mains and were still hungry. We all came home and prepared extra food from our kitchen as most of us were still hungry. I am happy to pay a good price for a meal but if I spend this amount of money and walk away hungry, something is not quite right. Very nice flavours and well prepared but for the price, serving sizes were very small. Unfortunately, I wont go back. there are other places in Big White that whilst not so fancifully prepared, taste just as good and cost way less.

Small menu but something for everyone.Tasty and well cooked food.Best of all is the theatre that comes with the gunbarrel coffee.
Good ambiance and great staff
I would recommend the mussels.
Ignore the opening times on the website they are confusing.. Ski season its open daily from 5 till 10pm. You cant book on line which is inconvenient.

Casual fine dinning. Live music Friday and Saturday nights.
Stopped in for lunch after a half day skiing. The staff was friendly and attentive. The lunch menu was burgers, soups, sandwiches, etc. The food was pretty good, arrived promptly and was what could be expected a ski side restaurant, nothing to write home about but tasty none the less.
As is to be expected at a ski hill the food and drinks were a tad expensive. C’est la vie.

I am very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The items marked on the menu as gluten free, are in fact NOT gluten free.
I tried ordering two appetizers which were marked as gluten free. When I asked our server if could eat them as a celiac, I was told yes. As both involved frying I wanted to verify that they had a separate fryer to which the server replied no. When I told her that a celiac could not eat those gluten free items as they would be cross contaminated, I was met with pure indifference. I should have just left at this point, but we were hungry. I ended up ordering a burger with gluten free bread instead, which the server ensured me was gluten free after checking with the kitchen. About 30 minutes after lunch I had a full blown celiac attack. In addition to being exceptionally painful, it ruined the rest of my Big White weekend for both skiing and festivities (we were up for our friend's birthday). Needless to say, I will never be eating here again.
