On this vacation, I had to really review the food bill before paying. Surprised because we are told that the servers are professionals. It is clearly marked on the menu that there is a 15% discount for lunch. And lunch we had, and no discount was given. Now, how many people does that happen to?
This place was recommended so we walked here from town. Okay to do at lunch, don't suggest you do it at dinner.
Lunch was good, service was good. Tip- Silvio's beer bottle makes a great souvenir.

Stopped in for a glass of wine before heading to La Darsena for dinner. We sat outside on the amazing roof top bar under the grapes and lattice. Service and wine flight were amazing. After dinner and walking by again he decided to stop in for a glass of wine to end the evening and sat inside to enjoy the cave like feel. What a wonderful experience. While we did not have any food we did see others eating and it looked very good. A must stop!

We were greeted by the owner, he was friendly and funny. My husband and I had a lovely lunch yesterday, the food was excellent. The restaurant is set further up the little quaint street and was full of atmosphere. Definitely recommend a visit.

The menu is 100% Italian, with fresh fish from our lake and fresh hand-made pasta. To have a good table, it is good having a reservation and if you'd like Chef Luigi can pick up you in Bellagio. Every day chef Luigi does Private Cooking Lesson.

My wife and I attended this restaurant about 7 years ago and I am pleased to say that the standard is just as good now as it was then. Pickup service from the hotel was really appreciated. We can across this place in Bellagio one evening and they had a 1 table left and the place was full of mostly tourists (wether thats good or not we'd find out).
They had a set menu which i choose (menu di carne 25€) and my wife a salad and bottled water. My antipasto plate was nice to start then the Bolognese and finally the meat casserole, i was completely full. thus ice-cream for dessert.
the local wine was good as was the service...
I couldn't believe the tables they were turning away after we arrived,
They close quite early so be warned.....

Well worth climbing the stairs for this excellent restaurant. It was recommended by the staff at our hotel and we were not disappointed. Our waiter was excellent and made fantastic recommendations from the menu. Please include if you want excellent Italian cuisine in a beautiful location.

VERY expensive restaurant with food that looks fancy but very bad, VERY small dishes. We went there because our hotel recommended it, we came back hungry with a bill of 120€ for a couple. DO NOT GO THERE!

Having visited several times before I was sorely disappointed with the current state of aperitivo et al during my last visit.
The bar/restaurant I knew and loved from three years ago has been replaced with a continuous advertisement for shipping of wine.
The focus of the bar has always been wine however the malt whisky selection was previously second to none in the local area and cocktails a aplenty.
Upon arriving at the bar this time around we were told there was a ten minute wait. No problem. However they are using up one table for a giant advert for their wine export service. Okay. Upon enquiring for a cocktail list we were informed by a surly server that this is a wine bar. Assuming that we had just had a bad experience we returned the following day. Again the service was unfriendly, we had a menu placed down with the wine by the glass range on show and encouraged to order from this. We had a quick drink and left. Three years ago we would happily spend the whole night there.
The charm and quaintness this place had appears to have sadly disappeared.

We had dinner on the second floor of this nicely appointed restaurant. This restaurant's signature fish from the lake was a big disappointment - no taste of fish, just the taste of fried egg. Pasta was OK, but I certainly can't recommend this restaurant.Thank you for you comment expressing your "personal" opinion. Local people say that our "Risotto with Perch" is one of the best in Bellagio. Kind regards

Great food, wonderful ambiance, incredible service, Try the house red wine it's incredible,no preservatives. Prices are reasonable. We spent time speaking with the proprietor, he is friendly, intelligent and we'll versed in the history of Florence. A must place to eat when visiting this beautiful city.
