We weren't sure about the Capatin Pirate from some of the reviews but thought we'd give it a go. The guy at the front also promised lots of free starters and complementary bits so w egave it a go. ATmosphere was actually quite good, not too loud, the DJ was a bit unusual playing some seriously dated musi videos but they were surprisingly good (probably because I was closer to the release dates of some of the videos than many of the customers). The food was good, to be honest I can't remember exactly what we had but it was hot and tasty. The waiter and i hadongoing banter about whether I was ordering water or wodkawhich was quite amusing and the DJ came over to say hello, Service was good without being intrusive, a little slow towards the end as more people arrived. Lots of Russians in the town bringing their own cultural take (many will know what this means). The restaurant is themed ( no surpise there) but not sure if Disney knows about their take on Pirates of the Caribean and the atmosphere was a little dark but actually we quite enjoyed the visit. Cost was a reasonable £45 for 2 with wine and soft drink.

This restaurant is ideally located for a spot of people watching while you eat. The staff are great and ensure that you are well looked after. Food is well priced and is great value. You cant go wrong with a steak from here.

As as Asian restaurant you start with Sushi, move onto Chinese and end up with deep fried ice cream, swimming in fat. Service was excellent and the quality of the food ok. But ... the recommended crispy duck comes with all of the trimmings but only 1/2 pancake!

Starve yourself before eating here. The starters were wonderful and huge portions. The main course was fantastic, if you like king prawns (shrimp) order this, even the waiter said it was a good choice and I can say It Was. Beautiful authentic tastes, presentation, service and quality. A Must......

To start we had the French onion soup. It had a slab of ungrilled cheese on top. Prawn cocktail had very little sauce, three overcooked prawns and some Lettuce.
Mains we ordered ribeye steak and gnocchi, ended up with ribeye and duck in orange. (however they kindly gave us a small portion of the gnocchi). The ribeye was tough, not a lot of flavour in sauce but mash was great. The orange sauce on the duck was a bit strong and the gnocchi were hard and very chewy.
Dessert was hot chocolate pudding which was ok.

Our first night of our stay in the hotel, we had a chance to experience BBQ, in the garden and liked it. Have the option to cook by yourself of can be served to your table ready cooked. From salmon to meatball, almost all kinds of red and white meat available.

I think that people should think twice about the level of food that is served at this "out-post"..If they want the all singinging all dancing then they should repair to the main building.
If however you desire a relaxed dinner overlooking the lapping Med. Sun going down and moon coming up, the warmth of the breeze taking the chill from a hard days sunbathing..I do think that the words Up and shut sould be used in a differant order.

One of Kemer's well established restaurants, it never fails to deliver. The food is of high quality and the prices are very reasonable. The steaks, weiner schnitzel and meatballs are all excellent choices. Staff are great and always make you feel welcome.
