Highly recommend! We ordered four pizzas and a salad so that we could eat dinner on the beach. All four pizzas were delicious... the order taken by a lovely lady and delivered in 15 minutes. A mad dash to the beach and we were the envy of the restaurant diners as we ate inches from the sea. Perfect. Thank you.

Weekday menu is excellent value and enjoys the same quality dishes (like roast suckling pig) as the a la carte menu and also includes wine. We have enjoyed the most delicious char grilled rabbit dishes and excellent locally fished baby squid. Think we had the biggest fillet steaks ever, char grilled to perfection during our visit last Sunday to celebrate our 45th anniversary !

Lovely terraced outdoors with city view. Grilled watermelon appetizer was intriguing. But all 3 of the main courses were disappointing. The bass was the least tasty we had in our trip, the prawns tasted like the ocean with no other flavors, and the scallops on bacon was on a huge slab of pork (translation problem?). We don't enjoy filleting our own fish and shelling our own prawns, but if we go to all the trouble we want it to taste good! We were laughing halfway through and skipped dessert. Had been highly recommended and were very disappointed

Just right, good value and good service. Very busy the night we visited. Was able to get in earlier than told. Had a fun, relaxing dinner. Friendly, attentive staff. I would recommend to anyone visiting Begur. Stayed three night in Begur and the was the best food experience.

Lovely restaurant with real charm. Attentive waiters, nice relaxing music. A genuine buzz. We had suckling pig and beef filet both cooked well and nicely presented. Our 6 year old had a hamburger and they swapped in fries for her - she loved the meat. For dessert we had chocolate fondue which was really good and crema Catalana which was nicely done. The real selling point is the gently buzzing atmosphere in a beautifully renovated mansion. Would certainly go back!

We have been coming to this restaurant for about 5 years and are very regular visitors to Begur. It would be inconceivable for us to come to Begur and not eat at Platillos. We enjoy sitting at the bar in this tiny restaurant. The flavours are amazing and the service is great. It's not the cheapest "tapas" but i bet it will be amongst some of the best you will eat.... book ahead as they turn away many people every night! Only went this past a Sunday but already can't wait to go back!

We don't claim to be a gastronomic top restaurant, nor solely a traditional one. We just do what we like and how we like it to be done, with passion and trying always to attend all the small details. This was a great find in Begur. The fixed price 3 course evening menu (€27) is fabulous value. Even by adding on a fourth course (the cheese plate (which was fantastic)) we left the restaurant feeling we had received excellent value for money. Wonderful wine list to boot. Highly recommend the the veal cheek main course and the chocolate and olive oil dessert. Thank you!

Small, super local, rustic, authentic fish restaurant in Begur. A selection of whole fresh locally caught fresh are brought to your table and explained - to help you choose. Prepared and cooked in sight on the wood fire bbq. Quite a special experience. Good.

This was our first visit to Sa Riera and didn't expect good food. Most restaurants seem to offer the usual fare but not Recer. Lovely starters and although my pork main wasn't great my partner had a good steak. They had run out of our 1st 2 choices of wine but we still had a decent wine as the list gave a good choice. Not cheap but I would recommend.
