Very OTT. Expensive for what it was. Wine wasn't that good for how much it cost, extortionate! Rather a lot of garnish on the plate. Just ok but not mouthwateringly delicious. On my plate fish had a crust of potatoes with more potatoes on the side. What's that all about?

Myself and Joe came here for dinner at the last point of our honeymoon. This was definitely the best restaurant we found in Corsica! The pizza was amazing, the salad verde v generous and the desserts were yum! We even had room for the calzone filled with Nutella to end our delicious meal. The staff were so lovely too which added the evening! Many thanks ;)

A simple lunch from the set menu was very tasty. The waiter was friendly and entertaining, singing with the background music. The view when sat on the balcony over the harbour is excellent. Stuffed sardines and the pork chop were very nice indeed. Well worth a visit and good value compared to the surrounding restaurants which are very pricey.

La Taverne, beef and beer bar.
Excellent meat restaurant! Especially the tartare! Service is very good and friendly. Good range and excellent dessert for the ones with a sweet tooth. To try absolutely: le cafe gourmand. And it isn't very expensive for the quality of the food and the quantity! To be tried!!!!

Home made ice creams & pizzas. Since 1937.
If you like ice cream, make sure not to miss this place. The ice cream and sorbets are really outstanding and so many flavours to choose from. Of course you'll find all the classics like vanilla, strawberry and chocolate, but do try the local flavours like chestnut or blueberry.
A real treat!

The waiter was very friendly and explained us the French menu, we ordered fish and it looked very good. The taste was good but not overwhelming. We would go there again.

This is a great little restaurant for people who enjoy food. We had a delicious meal here. Carefully presented and nicely prepared. If homemade ravioli, delicately sauced, and served with a generous shaving of fresh truffle is to your taste you won't be disappointed.
A little quirky, champagne served in wine glasses not flutes, but at only 7 euros who's complaining.
Main course fish cooked spot on and delicious desserts. Wine prices fair.
You have to book. It's full. And full with locals too which probably accounts for not too many reports on Tripadvisor. Recommended.
How interesting to see the previous entry. Was this the American couple who arrived without a confirmed booking and set about making a nuisance of themselves?
If you ain't got a table you ain't got a table and giving a load of stuff about being a restaurant critic and expecting special treatment was a pain for everybody. What was most disturbing was that you expected the restaurant to bounce their regular customers just to accommodate you. The Manager was polite but those people's behaviour was disgraceful. Loud and arrogant. So did you diss the restaurant?
Well, it's a smashing restaurant. Welcoming staff and great food. And not too expensive either.

We really enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant. The very friendly owner let us in before noon after he saw us waiting outside. The restaurant has a cave ceiling interior in an old building along a narrow street near the port. We ordered penne arrabiatta and penne siciliana. We can recommend both menu items, especially the penne siciliana. That dish was really special. Both were cooked al dente. Portions were large and prices more than reasonable. The chef even came out to greet us at our table during our meal. The red house wine was very tasty as well. From what we saw, nearby diners also had very delicious looking plates full of food in front of them. Everything was excellent about this restaurant and we can highly recommend eating here. It was everything we were looking for. Maybe more.

Steak house aperitif and wine bar
We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. We fall in love with moules a la Corse with panzetta and tomato sauce. Best mussels ever! Later we had beef baked with cheese, and fish and seafood plater. Everything was very good.
The waiter was very friendly and attentive. We will come back.
