Stopped here on our way to Bacau airport for some food before our flight and were very pleased with the friendly welcome and tasty pizzas chosen from an extensive Italian menu. On the south side of the city centre, makes an ideal pre-flight stop en route to the airport. Nice covered Terrace and attractively decorated rooms inside

A go to place for good traditional food. Restaurant decoration is modern and done in very good taste, an extensive menu with Romanian traditional food however items are still listed even if are not available for a long period of time as are off season. Food is good, very tasty and generous portions . Unfortunately service is bad at this place, very likely is a mix of incompetence and short stuff at peak hours. I say is never waitress fault if she can get away with not cleaning the table, dumping used plates on our table from a different table while bringing us cutlery and so on, the list is pretty long, so is really not her fault is the Maitre D' fault that is not keeping an eye at service. Bottom line: if you want some good food and bad service doesn't bother you this is the place :-)

A beautiful oasis in the centre of Bacau city offering activities such as gokarting and children's play areas. A beautiful water Fountain is surrounded by flower beds, trees. A well serviced restaurant and cafe bar offers local foods and drinks accompanied by live music. Well worth a visit!

Ok Irish bar,arrived 16th march,very busy with football on. Drinks were warm,barman was nice guy. Food ok. Its a bar. Would not go back as in Romania ,go to Romanian bars as they are friendlier and better fun.

Well located, in a nice villa with a big Terrace, the restaurant impressed me with the food. It was just seconds away from being really perfect, only very minors details prevented it to be so. Good variety of food, well cooked, interesting combinations. The duck was just a bit too cooked, but a very little bit. Did not feel like trying any other restaurant in the area, so I came back 3 more times and each time I was not disappointed. Friendly and fast staff, as well.

I took dinner at the restaurant terasse. There were a lot of smell from the kitchen. The steak was so hard to eat and not so tasty. Staff was not so useful... As a conclusion: NOT RECOMENDED!

We have had several meals at La Taverna during our stay at the hotel Helen and the food is just delicious. You must try the Romanian specialities they are really freshly prepared. The service is also very good.

Got there with a small group of friends. The food was cooked to perfection and had a nice presentation. The taste great, staff more than helpful. Decent prices.
