So much more - from my iced or hot chai latte (depending on the season) to Toft's icecream to delicious carrot cake or death by chocolate - then there is tomato basil soup paired with Downtown Perks signature chicken salad.. We have never been disappointed here - friendly and efficient staff, nostalgic setting, neighborhood regulars - all downtown..

I just stopped by on a trip with my husband. I ordered my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season. It didn't taste right. I asked the barista if it was a true PSL? She looked at it and said "yes" but offered and insisted on making me another. It was perfect. I really appreciate her willingness to make sure I was perfectly satisfied!! Thank you!!

One of our favorite places. Their pulled pork on pita bread is fantastic. The owners are very very nice! We got BBQ pork from them for our daughter's grad party in July and they did not disappoint. Many guests said it was the best BBQ...MoreThanks for the nice review. So glad when our customers are more than satisfied with the food and service. We love our customers.

Typical DQ. Usually go thru the drive thru. It's been a bit of a challenge as I love to get blizzards with 1 scoop Reese's Peanut Butter cup and 1 scoop strawberries and is often a challenge as they try to over charge me. But in the end, it's delicious and go back each time.

We bake our own pies daily with many different varieties offered. We have been in business for 65 years as of 2016. We are still family owned by the same family.

How this is the #3 restaurant in Ashland, I have no idea?! The service is just o.k. but the food is absolutely terrible. We had a group of four and were all terribly disappointed. The entrees were comparable to the food in a hospital cafeteria. There was nothing "homemade" about any of it. Bland and tasteless. And the pies we've read so much about were a joke. The chocolate pie is basicly a cheap piecrust with chocolate pudding inside. The apple pie tasted as if it was freezer burned. Our group had a median age of 40 years old and we were the youngest customers by atleast 30 years. This is one of the worst places I've eaten in recent memory. This place makes Bob Evans look like a four star resturaunt. We will not . Ever.

Lunch and a Spanish lesson. My wife and I have been dinning here for years. We always enjoy the quick service and huge selection to choose from. Small town is tough for any restaurant but this one has stood up to time. The lunch buffet is not glamorous by any means but it's inexpensive and a fair variety for a more than fair price. Ordering off the menu is always fun and consistently good...one must remember this is a American influenced Mexican restaurant not what one would find in Mexico city or Guadalajara, save we are in Ashland Ohio. Strap on your Sombrero and have a great time while not spending your children's college fund for dinner. Sorry no pictures, but the food is colorful and fresh. You won't leave hungry.

We had it delivered and it was great. One of the best pizzas I've had. We got cheese, pepperoni, and a chicken pizza plus two different types of wings. The chicken was awesome too. Hoping we can have the leftovers for dinner tonight!

We met other couples there for lunch for their buffet. I can't eat cheese & asked to order a pizza without it & they said they'd gladly make any kind of pizza I wanted & put on the buffet. Super super accommodating. Luckily the pizza was a hit with other diners & they made another one. Great pizza!!!

We go to Jake's often. It is a mainstay of our Sunday Dinners. We enjoy the burgers with and without bun. The Sunday special is the Prime rib which is very good. The steaks are excellent. We have had the flatbread and the fish and chips both are good. The daughter likes the pulled pork nachos which you have to ask to get.
