Visited as a family of 3. Busy but got a table downstairs. Husband's pizza brought before any starter (which was forgotten anyway!). He did say was very good. Slow service but food was good when we eventually got it - at different times! Just over £40 for 3 main courses and beers. Wouldn't return.

Unfortunately, only on the last day of our stay in Kranjska Gora we discovered this gem, which literally knocked us off our feet with the quality of it's food and service.. Never younger staff and never better kitchen! Everything was 10, from beautifully arranged dining room, friendly young waiter who made sure everything was in perfect order, and finaly, the food.. Oh, my God! The veal in a perfectly reduced sauce was almost melted in the mouth.. It came after a tasty mushroom soup and before delicious home made apple pie with walnut ice cream. We were just blown away. Looking forward our next visit!

Hotel Kotnik is a family-run hotel with a long, 30 - year tradition. It is located in the center of Kranjska Gora, know for its excellent restaurant and the oldest pizzeria PINO. Very kind employees and owners are a guarantee for the guests well - being and comfortable stay.

We visited on a busy Friday night in summer and some people had short waits for a table. There is plenty of Seating inside and out and the outdoor balcony is a great place for people watching.
My companion had a fabulous pizza (bacon, creme fraiche and mushroom) while I had a Flamingo salad which was great. All the greens I needed after a week in the Mountains.
Staff were friendly and the post dinner herbal shots were the best I have tasted in Slovenia.

Excellent cosy and romantic decor and great service, all combined with great food (with big portions, be prepared to eat). Can't comment on the desserts, but everything else was tasty and very nicely presented. I'd recommend it to everybody: couples, families and friends.

My title speaks for itself. For the best pizza in town, there’s no better choice… simply delicious!!!
This restaurant and pizzeria boasts an extensive menu with a variety of food specialties, but we were given a tip that their pizzas were divine and no regrets at all in having opted for them.
We visited this place on 2nd January 2018, right on our last day in Kranjska Gora. The restaurant opens exactly at noon and also in view of a flight delay, we had all the time in the world to enjoy the wonderful day.
The place offers a cosy ambiance, very clean and well organised. The staff couldn’t be more professional and friendly.
I ordered a pizza Sole Mio while my wife opted for a 4 letni časi. Both were exquisite!
This was the perfect way to wrap up our Slovenian adventure… thumbs up guys! I fully recommend this place!

The Chef Ilija in Golf Restorant Tarvisio is is not only the excellent cook,but also a perfect host.
Fingerfood and his welcome at bar, beautifully decorated plates with best quality of sea food.
All the food is beautifully presented and very tastefull .The Restaurant is offering very good Colio wines for a reasonable prices. Not to be forgotten, the excellent Deserts. Certanly the place to be highly recommended. Ilija, we wish you a good luck.

Yes, thank you reviewers from the TripAdvisor community. You were right in every aspect. Exactly 2 kilometers from the Austrian-Italian border on the SS13 is a small insignificant road to the right, leading up a small hillock next to the SS 13, where Pensione Ristorante Ex Posta is situated. There is ample parking space in front of the building. Ristorante Ex Posta is closed on Sunday evening and Wednesday the whole day according to a message on the door. Entering the premises, the restaurant is to the right;access is through the Italian bar with the bottles and the coffee machine. The restaurant is small, only 5 tables. The menu is limited, only two pages for Antipasti, Primi, Secondi and Dolce, but boy, what Ex Posta prepares is delicious. My Antipasto, porchetta with rucola was home made and so delicate of taste, delicious. This was followed by a tipical Friulan dish, sausages with polenta. also delicious. The dessert was a small portion creme brulee, called on the menu Crema Catalana. I must say, this creme brulee was so good, it approached in quality and taste the best creme brulee in the world, at Privilege Restaurant on Langkawi. To clinch the 5 points rating, the espresso was perfect in a pre-heated cup. The service at Ex Posta is professional, friendly and dedicated. What more could you wish.

We were enjoying our vacation in Kranjska gora, when we decided to go for dinner in Gostilna Pri Martinu. We ordered three mushroom sups, two buckwheat porridges with mushrooms and their traditional wiener, which I don't remember the name.
THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLY SOLTY! So we ask from some extra tap water.
The WAITRESSES WHERE SO IMPOLITE and unfriendly. It took ages to order and get our Deserts. However the worse of our experience was when we were CHARGED FOR TAP WATER!!!!
I my entirely life, have traveled through many countries and eat in many restaurants and I've never been charged for TAP WATER. Specially, in a region where particularly there is plenty of water. We have commented with issue with many fiends and they have never been charged for tap water.
I won't recommend this restaurant. There are many others in the area more friendly and the food was nothing special.

It's not a cheap restaurant, the final bill is usually quite high but it's fair compared to what you have: breathtaking view of the lake and the Mountains, handy for a walk around the lake (the path starts just outside the restaurant), delicious tipical food of the region, very friendly with kids. Don't forget to reserve your table, the restaurant is quite small and it's the only one in the area! The only negative thing: the toilet!!!
