We ate pizza from Pedricos' many times during our extended stays in Argao. Good pizza. Fast service and friendly people working there. If you want some American-style food while staying in Argao, then I highly recommend trying Pedricos'.

It's all about the kanding (and karaoke).
This is a small place, but new, and clean. Not much selection of food dishes but if you like kanding and you're in Argao, this is the place. I always take-out because i don't like karaoke. There are right on the hiway and have a couple parking slots.

Customer service sucks. Food sucks. Everything sucks. The space is too small. You can hear other customers' conversation.

Kafe Marco is a new restaurant and a bed and breakfast place in Talaytay, Argao, Cebu. The place is 5-minute away from the town proper, via tricycle or car.
Offers Filipino dish and some western food options. This may not be the best place to eat here, but this is the only option in the area.
It’s best if you can preorder, preparation takes time.
They also have rooms - bed and breakfast.

Argao has SO needed a restaurant to serve the more cosmopolitan members of the community here and hungry tourists passing through.
The menu focuses on Japanese fare, but I would just call it more of a Japanese inspired restaurant, as the Japanese dishes fall well short of first rate Japanese food. However, the food is good and different and a welcome respite from anything else Argao has to offer. They serve spaghetti and some Filipino dishes and even hamburgers to round out the menu. The prices for the Japanese selections are a bit high for the locale, but dirt cheap by global standards.
The tempura didn't have the light flaky crust you expect (note in the photo), the prawns and veggies were more just deep-fried, but good. I don’t know if the rice was Japanese, but it was excellent and we definitely enjoyed the pitcher of raspberry lemonade. It was made from a powder mix, but whipped in a blender so it was frothy and quite tasty, though a bit on the sweet side. The staff was great and the food was served quickly. The ambience was simple, clean and comfortable, with the big plus of most tables having an ocean view. They also have resort-type lodging rooms upstairs.
As I often spend time in Argao I will certainly go back. It's on the highway, just past the so-called Bar-B-Q Boulevard on the south edge of town.
Thank goodness this place is here.
