Just your basic diner foods and average at best . I had the burger special and it was good an portions large enough . However not great an reminded me of school cafeteria food .

I always take a drive to visit this ice cream shop every chance I get. I don't mind a drive from Windsor to get there. A lot of flavours, frozen yogurt and sherbet for every taste. Prompt service. Friendly stuff. Highly recommend for anybody in Amhertburg!

We are a real Bistro, not a burger joint! Excellent service, a quaint setting and fabulous food. We are consistently rated as one of the best restaurants in Amherstburg. Our menu is a taste experience: Belgian Waffles and Eggs Benedict at Breakfast, Home-made Soups, Paninis, Specials and Salads at Lunch. Our Dinner menu is awesome . . . French Country Bistro - Braised Lamb Shanks, Coq au vin, Steaks and much more. Crusty French Baguettes are baked every day and served with our dips, spreads, appetizers, artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, smoked salmon, pates etc. We feature special features every day. Eat inside or out, in our casual dining room, on our porch or our front lawn. Traveling with your dog? Rover will have fresh water and a treat for him/her.

We have been to the Dalhousie Bistro and several occasions in downtown Amherstburg, Ont. Location is great across from the Navy Yard Park which is fantastic and the boardwalk on the Detroit River. The atmosphere in the restaurant is french/canadian with quality food served, Either lunch or dinner you can't go wrong. There french onion soup is the real deal and there boards of cheeses and meats and smoked fish make a great lunch. For dinner they always have 5 or 6 entrees to chose from like Rainbow trout or Duck breast as well as regional favorites. Go with confidence.

Went for lunch yesterday with friends as we were in town for the holidays. We had the following: mushroom Swiss burger, chicken Sandwich with portobello mushroom, red pepper soup, and roasted veggie Sandwich with sweet potato fries. Every dish was delicious!! The portions are perfect and the service was great as well. We love the Artisan Grill and we will definitely be back. It never disappoints!

Absolutely horrible customer service. The owner claims to be in business for 17 years, I'm SHOCKED considering his absolutely aggressive and disrespectful tone. There are many pizza places in Amherstburg and this is by far the WORST. The quality of ingredients are poor and I'm genuinely appalled with his ability to take down a simple order is compromised. I called back after we picked up the pizza to ask why the order is wrong and he didn't even apologize or be accountable. We'll never return. Instead he argued with me claiming I called him a "liar".. How can anyone run a business with that kind of compromised responsibility to at least try to make it right? Awful. As another reviewer mentioned: there are many pizza places in Amherstburg, find one that appreciates their customers.

Normally I'm a real ice cream lover, but since we had lunch around the corner from this shop, we decided to stop in. There is an excellent selection of sundays, parfaits, shakes, cones, toppings and almost anything else one could desire. I started to order...MoreI am so happy you stopped in.
