The fruit juices are really freshly made. You can chose between about 6 or more fruits or a mixed juice. Mango - Maracuja was my choice. Very tasty! The service is a bit less up to the same quality, but ok. The price of $3.- is fair for the location and for the real fresh juice with a lot of fruits in it.

The restaurant looks new, is nice inside, the waitress was nice, but no English. The menu looked very appealing, and prices seemed ok. However, the beer was barely chilled, and I hate it when an obvious non beer drinker thinks giving you ice in your beer makes it better. Also, the meat on our plates was so overlooked it was nearly un-edible! Thankfully I still have my teeth. On the plus side, the salad was good. Optimistically, maybe the cook was having a bad day? I won't chance it again.

There are not too many good eating places in Alausi but this place was recommended by our hosteria. It produces excellent thin crust Pizzas. We opted for a medium vegetarian pizza with mozerella cheese which had a good selection of vegetables, very tasty and perfectly flavoured with herbs. Friendly owner, highly recommend this restaurant.

Not only was the food exceptional but the atmosphere and the service was really good too. In addition, the building is beautiful and nicely decorated inside. We came here for dinner and feared that it would be too touristy, but it did not feel like that. There seemed to be a good mix of locals and tourists and a nice atmosphere. The manager apologised for not coming over to our table within five minutes of us sitting down. It didn't bother us and in any case the service from then on was really good. The menu was varied. We did not have to wait long for the food, even though they were busy. I had an amazing tilapia fish fillet, with vegetables, french fries and a big bowl of rice! Lovely after dinner drink too.

So this costs more than the average three dollar almuerzo, but the cooking is not average.
30 meters from the train, this is a must on your return from Devils Nose.
Owner very helpful arranging transport for our onward travel.
Don't miss (best food in town by a long shot).

Très joli resto que vous devez découvrir. En retrait de la rue principal. Excellente accueil. Les jus maison sont excellents. Plein de belle attention et la qualité de la nourriture est excellente. 1er à mes yeux!
