The restaurant is located near Ethna mountain and it took ten minutes to find this restaurant since the doors were closed. The dining hall was the garden and it was a bit dark to see the meals perfectly. However, my wife and myself agreed the meals were tasty and the staff kindly explain the recommendation the wine as well as meals. Worth of visiting.

I had the best cannoli here (ask for them if not shown in the shopwindow), also the little ricotta donuts ("piccoli bignè ricotta") were exquisite, and heard a friend from Catania saying they make the best "Babà" too. Prices are even cheaper than in the centre. Note that you can't seat at Verona&Bonvegna though, just take-away and enjoy their exquisite sweets elsewhere. They're not so close from the centre but really worth it.

Peccato...

Located in a perfect are, walking distance to the city centre and via etnea and via Umberto.
Went at night with my partner, had starters, just fresh raw seafood marinated Sicilian style, black cuttlefish ink pasta and this is the real one, shared also shared a pasta with squill a mantis meat that is so tender as crayfish meat.
Also had amaro and lemon cake.
Thank you To the owner and his staff to serve beautiful dishes and give us a great experience.

This place is truly a hidden treasure in Catania! As soon as you walk inside, you feel like you are transformed into another world. From the chandeliers on the ceiling to the frosting on top of their cupcakes, Bisou creates an unforgettable experience like none other. The red velvet cupcakes are to die for!

We went here based on the reviews on T.A. and the fact that most of them were excellent and from Italians. It proved a good decision when 2 huge pizzas arrived. These were light though and fresh with generous ingredients. We couldn't finish them and it was no problem to have them prepared for next day's lunch which was a nice touch.
All in all a good pizza experience, friendly staff. It's also a good walk out of town so you can walk it off on the way back.

Our tour guide took us to this cafe for granita after a trip to Etna. We loved the ice cream and the view. When I tried to pay, they would not accept our money, claiming we had been sitting with 'their friend' and were therefore their guests. We had a lot of ice cream on our visit, and to not have to pay for the best was a real treat. We therefore recommend this place to everyone. Each flavour was delcious, but like pistachio especially.

Antonio offers what you think should be Sicilian trattorias. It's got tables outside, it offers typical dishes at reasonable price, and it is close to city center. Well known among the locals.

After seeing that this was listed as the number four restaurant on TripAdvisor for Catania we walked there through a number of not very attractive streets. We were shocked when we arrived at the address and there was no sign or indication that there was an address at the location. We peered through a beaded opening into what appeared to be a restaurant and were soon met by a gentlemen who made it clear there was no food available for us. We are baffled and have concluded the positive reviews, all in the Italian language, we either part of an elaborate scam or a prank. Save yourself a trip and avoid this place.
