This restaurant is close to my current home. I usually don't eat out much when I'm at home but I do make an exception now and then to have a fabulous lunch here. The food is excellent and the price is good. I've never been disappointed in any dish i tried here. The fried duck is definitely my favorite tho!

The Location of this divine restaurant is picturesque and elegant .
As you enter this restaurant you will be greeted to warm smiles and utmost gracious service of this establishments owner. "Kitty" and her well trained staff.
If you are fortunate to have a summer day of great weather , you maybe seated out side on their Terrance . You will have the greatest views. Mountains, villages . Not to mention the great views of the Gardens of Dona Flora.
Then the food. Now I may not be a chief but I do enjoy Food!
This is a restaurant that has a flare for a touch of surprise. I had the lamb. It was servered on a hot plate , I am told Braizilinan style. The lamb was perfect, juicey and tender .
The potatoes , the sauces were not just a surprise but an element of the Greatest Flavors..
For desert I had an ice cream with krish, I believe apricot was the fruit. It had a fine cream mixture a crunchy element with a taste of surprise of refreshness and tastes that will explode in your mouth. There are no words that will do this justice!
I also tried Dona Flor Famous chocolate cake. I heard so many complements about this cake. On the first taste it was so worth driving and traveling across the oceans from Guam to try this moist,chocolate,mouth watering cake. It was as we say IS TOO DIE FOR!
I am a privileged person to have enjoy all the elements of Dona Flor.
The atmosphere, the food, the excellent service, truly first class service.
The greetings by the owner, better known as Kitty, such laughter.
The warm embrace ment of WELCOME!
Life is to short not to try this wonderful place of Dona Flor.
I myself will travel another 32 hours of traveling across the oceans to have the chance to eat at this Resturant.

Topleistung auf dem Teller, Cordon Bleu ist Spitze, Wirtepaar etwas unfreundlich, grüssen und bedanken sich nicht für ein Banket mit über 20 Personen.

Traditionelles und währschaftliches Restaurant, bei welchem niemand mit Hunger heimgehen muss. Die Speisen sind gross und mit zb einem riesen Schweinssteak (genannt Mammut-Steak) auch sehr preiswert im Vergleich zur Menge.
Das Wirtepaar führt dieses Restaurant bereits 19 Jahre und bisher wurden wir nie schlecht bewirtschaftet.
Das Ambiente ist angenehm und einfach gehalten.

Die Lokalität ist wunderschön, liebevolle Dekoration, ein richtiger Hingucker. Hier fühlt man sich sofort sehr wohl. Das Essen war sehr gut, abwechslungsreich und jeder einzelne Gang war speziell angerichtet. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Great place, we go there every once in a while as we live close by. Undisputedly the best restaurant in Lyss, so at times it's hard to get a table, particularly when you cannot sit outdoors. Hardernpintli is very nice-priced cozy place, the service is always friendly, the food is great, their daily specials take you by surprise. That's how an excellent restaurant ought to be!

This place is a scam, if you have ever tried real mexican food, do not go to this place. The food you will be served is a mix of canned sauces, heavy cream and little else. Besides, extremely overpriced, even for Switzerland. Yes, it is that bad, considering how bad the food is.

Good:
Location, the township of Aarberg is worthwhile every visit, and this restaurant lies directly at the beautiful market place. In Summer you find a nice place outside.
Meals, I had the 'Mittagstisch' and got a delicious dish, prepared in a creative, tasty style. Typical Swiss kitchen served a modern way. A compliment to the cook!
Service was friendly and professional.
For this kind of excellent meal, the pricing was decent (as decent Swiss restaurant prices can be).
Ok:
It was noisy on the market place. Someone steam-cleaned the neighbor restaurant during a Saturday afternoon, compromising my enjoyment - most likely a unique action.

Ganz tolles Essen. Unglaublich köstlich zubereitete Gerichte. Das Aubergine-Curry ist sowas von aromatisch und geschmacksvoll. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und nett. Das Lokal ist klein, gemütlich und hübsch eingerichtet. Unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren. Es hat wenig Plätze und viele Kunden :-). Preis Leistung ist gut.
