I came here for a birthday party and was very impressed by the menu. The drinks were delicious!! The atmosphere was nice. The decor was chic. Just about everybody likes Swiss Chalet . On the most part while travelling , you can usually guarantee that you will receive a decent meal. Sometimes that is not the case at this S. Chalet. My meals have varied from overcooked , very little food on the plate and inappropriate wait staff on the run . Perhaps the day you partake , you will enjoy quality service and food. Lindsay has too few fresh food restaurants. I can think of Teriyaki Town, Pane Vino and a couple of Thai restaurants. How I hate tasteless food that arrives in restaurant kitchens in plastic bags ready for warming and serving. Thus I am delighted to report that Exteme Pita in the Lindsay Square, just to the left of the main entrance, serves fresh food that is both inexpensive and a delight to the taste buds. Among the menu items are shawarmas, soulakis, falafels, grilled chicken and goat cheese and so on. It's a tiny and friendly place. Seating is limited but you can do take out if you wish. Give it a try and meet the owners from the western part of India. You'll be impressed.
