The cafe is easy to find with plenty of free on street parking. We both had breakfast. Pancakes for the husband and smashed avocados on terrific sourdough bread for me. The servings were enormous. Personally I could have done with half the quantity at half the price but the flavours and presentation were terrific. The music was a bit too loud, but I enjoyed it. It would be hard to talk in a group though. The coffee was good. Overall very pleasant.

The atmosphere was amazing, warm and inviting with a fire on a cold Invercargill night. The only thing that was lacking was a little sauce for the adult main meals as some of it ie hasstleback potatoes were dry. Food was good, just needed sauces to add flavour and moisture. COD was a little dry as well.Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, I am pleased to hear that atmosphere was warm & inviting. Love Industry. The coffee is consistently excellent, the food lovingly made on the premises and beautifully presented. Oh, and itâs delicious! The service is also excellent- the staff genuinely look out for customers in a friendly, helpful and unobtrusive way. There is plenty of parking as well! The biggest problem is that it is a popular destination at peak times and you may have a short wait to be seated - you can reserve a table though. And sadly, it isnât open in the weekend.

Staying on a campsite near Invercargill we were recommended The Foundry as a good local restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. What a lucky find! Very well served and entertained by âBertâ with excellent food and wine. And they even provided transport to and fro. Highly recommended. If weâre ever in the vicinity again weâll certainly be back.
