We visited after the great reviews on TripAdvisor so didn't mind the walk to a more residential part of Da Nang. We arrived at 7 and sat in the lovely courtyard underneath the pomelo tree. The place is well appointed and the staff were really friendly. The prices are very competitive and we even received pints of gin and tonic! Good vibe, atmosphere and loved seeing the cats wonder around. Only drawback - the food. Tasted bland in our opinion (especially the pastas). It's a shame because I really wanted it to be good.

After my massage on Ho Nghinh street I saw this majestic looking new building which turned out to be Brilliant hotel and seafood restaurant on street level. Its outdoor seating and clean appearance got my attention and on entering saw their wall-to-wall array of fish/shellfish display tanks. Staff were attentive and spoke decent English so that helped, though a bit over-zealous always within 2 foot ready to pick up soiled dishes from my table. I have nothing to say about the great food I had for dinner, wishing only that I had a party of 6 people in order to indulge in a wider variety of live delicacies from the seas. Highly recommended!! As mentioned in the title... donât let this road that is under construction food you. Tamarind restaurant is beautiful inside, great staff, and amazing food. Good western food if you need a break. Excellent service. Lots to choose from. Menu says staff are from ethnic minorities and hard of hearing backgrounds. Service runs smoothly and coffee is good.

We had the Madame Hanh tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious. It was very good value and A LOT of food. We started with banana blossom salad, followed by spring and summer rolls. For main course it was roast chicken, chicken wings and then lemongrass beef skewers and Vietnamese pancakes. Our waiter was lovely and even showed us how to put together all the condiments for the pancakes and skewers. Dessert was fresh pineapple and then passion fruit with caramel that they used a flame to toast in front of you. Per person it was 300,000 VND, so amazing price for the service, quantity of food and flavor.We were staying nearby at the intercontinental Danang and it was a great place to go outside of the resort at much more reasonable prices. The waiter at Madame Hanhs was very helpful in organizing a taxi home for us too.

Short Review: compared to other restaurants in the same price range, this is a good restaurant, the food istasty, well presented, and more sophisticated than most. The setting is clean and well maintained, atmosphere is rather sobre. Service was good and servers speaks good English. Price is very resonable for service offered. We will likely return. Long review: We went there only once, for dinner on Sunday. Restaurant was not very full and we were offered a table with a nice view on the city (only 4 tables have a view). Atmosphere is relaxing with an ambiance music, dim light and a candle on each table. For starter, we took the veggetable soup, vietnam style clam, and shrimp bisque. Booth the soup and the bisque were very tasty, our little one loved the veg soup! The clam was average, some had some sand. For dinner, we had the braised seafood-trio, the lamb with chickpea puree, and pasta with mushrooms and artichoke. The sea-food was very fresh but was a bit dry for our taste, maybe we left it for too long in the hot cast iron stove. The pasta was good but not "al dente", the black olives really made the difference. The lamb with the chickpea puree was the highlight: lamb very very tender, cooked to perfection, and the puree was amazing and all together worked very well. Service was good, with waiter speaking English. Only downside is that they served one of the starters 10 minutes after the two others. The bill was very resonable 2MVND for 3 starters, 3 mains, 2 desserts and 2 glasses of wine. We ate here this evening and it was delicious! The young female waitress spoke very good English and was able to guide us with the extensive menu. We ordered a steam fish in soya sauce, chum soy in oyster sauce and steamed rice. We got it all and rice paper with mixed leaves to make wraps. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful.
