The restaurant was empty and so the waiter was attentive but overly so. Our plates were snatched away as quickly as possible and the portion sizes were so small that we left hungry but paid nearly â¬198 for the small amount of food and a bottle of wine. Sadly we won't go back even though the small portions were tasty. It isn't Michelin food just plain cuisine.

After a long day of driving- booked into the Ibis & saw the advert for "show yr key to get 10% of Poivre Rouge" We were a bit in the boondocks and didn't want to drive for dinner, with Poivre across the road, that we would give it a go. Sussed it out earlier when closed, be was not what we were expecting...??a canteen type with burgers. What we got was a lovely waitress Stephanie, very good food [we had a double burger and mixed grill] and yummy dessert of 3 different petit sweets. Stephanie was attentive and we didnt have to wait for meals. I really liked the champagne with blackcurrant liqueur. There was always a steady flow through the door. Also very clean and tight and tidy. Then, with 10 percent off, it was a walk back to our room across the road.

We are staying just around the corner from Le Bosphore and every time we walk by it has a good sized crowd of diners in a large and very clean shop.Whilst first thoughts are its just another kebab place, our meal on Saturday afternoon of their small assiette and the mixed assiette certainly changed our perception.Both plates, large and beautifully presented, with drizzles of balsamic vinegar over the very fresh salad which had lots of onion, and in the case of the mixed, roasted chicken, curried chicken in dry batter, sausage and kebab style slices of lamb along with very tasty chips. The small assiette differs only in it just came with one meat, from the kebab roll, everything else was the same.We also had the choice of additional condiments and we both chose mustard and of course there was a basket of bread.The friendly and efficient staff continuously cleaned down the tables with spray as each became vacant and the toilets were spotless.We washed it down with 4 beers as we had just finished a hike along the canal and had built up a thirst and appetite.The coffee was good too.

The workers were really nice and polite even when they didnât speak english so well! At lest they tried and we appreciated it. Food was okay beer was good really nice place :)
