We visited the restaurant as a group of 7 and had no trouble getting seating. Next to us was an even larger group of about 10. It had a lovely, authentic Khmer atmosphere. We were seated outside, which meant it was a little buggy (only a little), but they gave us big spray, put coils under the table, and had fans going to keep the annoyance to a minimum.The food was also fairly traditional Khmer food, like curry soup and stir fried Chinese water spinach (which they called morning glory). Everything but the skewers was wonderful. The skewers were okay, just a bit chewy. The food was slow to come out, but thatâs likely because of the size of our groups. While we waited, we munched on toasted peanuts and the little kids made paper airplanes.Throughout the meal staff were friendly and attentive.

After spending the afternoon walking around the temples of Siem Reap we came here for a late dinner. Our first taste of Cambodian food. What can we say. YUM YUM YUM. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. Cheap cocktails and very reasonable priced food. The Khmer Curry was just right with the right amount of spice. The beef lok lak was delicious, the eggplant and mine pork was too die for. For sweets we had pineapple spring rolls, OMG!!!! What a find, just down the road from our hotel. If you are here make sure you find your way here.

We were recommended this restaurant by our guide. It was less than 5 minutes walk from our hotel. The staff spoke good English and were eager to learn more. The food was really delicious and cheap. It was half the price of pub street. If you are staying at this end of down I would highly recommend. They have amazing little deserts too. we did the eat all you can premium meat. cost us about 18 us dollars per person. tender, juicy and definitely worth the price. for that price, you could order everything on the menu but we opted to indulge on premium beef. conveniently located in a relatively new mall called heritage walk. we came here to spend time as we had to check out from our hotel and wait for our late evening flight.

We ate at Meric Khchei twice during our short visit to Siem Reap and we were extremely pleased with the quality of everything that we tried.
