This restaurant has a lovely terrace overlooking the harbour. The menu is not massive but the portion sizes are very generous and tasty, the seafood pasta starter could easily suffice as a main. The staff were very helpful with deciphering the menu and attentive. You are given a free snapps on arrival and again on leaving which is a nice touch. A forgotten order of a drink was rectified with a double on the house, thank you.

Banjole is very limited for places to eat, we went here on one of our nights and it was so hot - not there fault all the windows were open but it was boiling and there was no wind so an uncomfortable meal. Lots of these Konobas have a very generic menu and this was no exception. We went for meat dishes and they were at best average. Mixed grill platter was ok, steak was ok but the peppercorn sauce horrible and the spag bol again was fine. Wouldnt rush back and indeed we didnt.

Worst restaurant expirience ever. Rude waiters. We ordered truffle burgers but there were no truffles inside, maybe truffle oil, but no taste. The bun was cold. When we complained we were told by the waiter that he isn't the cook and left. He didn't return to our table at all.We went to ask for the bill and we told that we didn't want to pay for a truffle burger because there were no truffles inside. And the waitress just told us "do you know how much would a burger cost if there were real truffles inside?" which was very rude. I told her that it doesn't matter how much it costs, what matters is that we get what we ordered. She just told me that I should go to the boss (who was just sitting at his table with some other guy). Like, I am supposed to go to the table and talk to him, shouldn't you call him over?We just payed and left.. Never again.

-Location: 3/5 (typical Croatian konoba, close to Pomer center)-Menu: 1/5 (traditional Istrian dishes, both meat and fish. However, dishes are tasteless and watery)-Service: 1/5 (unprofessional, disorganised and unfriendly. Too long waiting times, rude owner)-Price quality: 1/5 (poor price quality ratio given the awful service and food quality)We came here for a Sunday dinner in August and had mix busara fish (scampi, shells, octopus) as first dish, grilled tuna and cuttlefish a second dish. Everything was tasteless and watery. Though, the worst part was the service. We had to wait 30 minutes before ordering, no one was taking care of us. Indeed, we decided to leave without taking the dessert because the waiter never came back to our table after having served us the second, even though we called him several times. We complained about the service received with the owner and he did not apologise. Other clients just before us also complained for thr service received. In summary, this is a touristic place to avoid. Guests are not cash cows and deserve respect. Never more, for sure we will not return.

The family tradition and coastal atmosphere are felt in this Mediterranean ambiance since 1969. You can enjoy the authentic Istrian cuisine, a wide selection of fish and meat dishes, shellfish and crab by local recipes. Gastro offer is attended by an exte
As per most of the restaurants in this area the menus are very similar Pasta, Meat & Fish. The food was very nice and prices reasonable. We particularly enjoyed the Penna Arrabiatta which was spicy and the peasants potatoes which made a nice change. Our only criticism was the service, we had to ask several times to get the bill.

We came for lunch, as such it was not crowded like some reviews described. Ordered the seafood platter (on recommendation) and seafood risotto. Kitchen was flexible enough to swap the mussels for other seafood as we werenât keen on mussels. The platter came with Dorado and another fish, grilled calamaris, deep-fried calamaris, Langoustines, and vegetable / potato side - it was well prepared and fresh. Calamaris were springy as they should be. Finished off the meal with homemade cheese cake that was delicious - crust was made with local biscuit (Plazma) and whipped cream cheese, topped with berries and fruit jelly. Service was excellent. They also sell wine and olive oil - itâs worth bringing a bottle or two home as souvenirs.
