Became a regular when in town... I appreciate the consistent high quality of the food, especially the meat. They offer different cuts and, if you wish, customized weight. Always something different on the menu to try. Shout out to Conrad and Melissa: really friendly and professional service(!)- yet casual atmosphere with a mixed business/leisure/visiting mostly local crowd. Modern and inviting ambiance. Learned to call ahead and make a reservation.

Like meat; go here! We had dinner here while on business trip. Nice place - simple but effective interior. Menu is mainly based around meat (no brainer looking at the name). The bar is a sight to be seen.You either order straight from the menu (burgers etc), of they prepare a specific lump of various meats. As we had a long day we took a big sized Tomahawk prepared to share. Came well prepared, and cut ready to eat. Great proposition as a restaurant in a nice street. You do need to order sides.Paired it with a solid red wine and we had a great dinner. Not cheap but that was to be expected for 750+grams of meat and wines. Worth the money though, also because of the nice staff.Recommended!Thanks a lot, Brian! We loved having you as our guest and serving you one of our prime steaks, the tomahawk. The location is rather subpar...but the food compensates for it. The meat plate with different meats from Argentina, Australia, USA and Ireland was quite delicious. And so was the child potato soup. Service is super friendly, all the meats get explained to you. Prices on the rather higher end. Definitely a good experience in a strange location.

We have been to Bacchus 1 several times over the past few years. Each visit has been a great experience. The menu is huge, so there is something for everyone. All the dishes we have had were excellent. I wish I had asked for the name of the ouzo that was poured before and after our meal. It was the best we've ever tasted. Service is very attentive. Seating is available inside and outside. Bacchus 1 is understandably very popular, so reservations are recommended.

In my opinion one of the best choices in Hannover. Good food, good drinks, sometimes live music. The staff is kind and quick and prices correct (portions very generous.
