A hundred metres off Grand Baie's main street in Racket Road. Well worth seeking out. Tiny restaurant with eclectic decor, menu and music. Delicious and varied menu and great fresh juices. Excellent value for money and attentive service by the owner himself.Hi Robert H, Thank you for your superb review and rating, it means a lot to the team! We hope we get to serve you again sometime soon :). Take care from Dalon's team

This is a nice & festive restaurant with lots of character located in the famous Banana Beach Club. The Gourmet Grill is much more than a grill, we feature local seafood and weekly specials. Our menu includes Seafood Risotto, Camarons (Giant fresh water s

Asian Spice fine dining restaurant. A Creole traditional restaurant in Mauritius. Our restaurant is a combination of new and tastier mauritian cuisine. The restaurant has Lounge Bar and AC seating dining. We have one of the best Indian Chef in Mauritius. All
Here for dinner. Ordered the ginger prawn entree which was crispy yum. The chicken saagwala which was ok but have had better elsewhere. The biryani was tasty and plentiful. We took the leftovers home. The waitress was very kind. I would advise against the house white wine though.

The atmosphere is easy, the staff is very efficient, the food very tasty and the portions huge! All accompanied with a smile - what do you ask more?Remark: This is valid for all restaurants in Trou Aux Biches we visited.

L'Assiette du Nord is the oldest, re-known restaurant in Trou Aux Biches. We offer a variety of excellent Mauritian and Chinese dishes. Our live sega and one-man shows are the most favorite among our customers. When dinning at L'Assiette du Nord you are su
I speak French but still it was like pulling teeth trying to get a recommendation out of the waiter. Settled on the lamb curry and added the samosas as a starter. The food was good, not great. Nonambiance but pleasant sitting on the covered patio watching the rain. Might go back and try the fish which someone else had. I've seen it packed various other days so Sunday may have been a little off for everyone. Prices are inexpensive for sure

The mark of a really good, can do Restsurant is what happens when the main chef is out sick. In this case the owner steps in and the food is still good. At a packed house on Saturday night my Sea bream curry with eggplant served with saffron rice was the best curry I've had in Mauritius in three weeks. The salad bar was fresh and very, very good. Nice selection and it's free. The pineapple flambé was a nice surprise. I saw lots of other tasty meals going by me towards eager diners. Lots to try the next time which will be soon.

For many months we often passed this restaurant saying we would visit it one day.Why we waited so long is beyond me! Worth a visit - or ten.Sometimes you just have to order something that you can't get off the shop shelf - like freshly caught fish. We had a mix of fish dishes starting with smoked marlin to share, tuna steak and babonne (rock-cod). Then we finished with a really 'good-feel' coffee.Simple dishes - beautifully cooked - certainly ranks up there with the best. The service and staff were absolutely delightful - you will be humbled by the extraordinary mannerisms - true 'old style' hospitality. I am glad there are still restaurant staff who pay attention to their customers in a gentle, respectful and informative way.I will be back!
