Lovely busy restaurant, very friendly staff and soft lighting throughout.We had a cosy table for two and both ordered salads which were very good.For dessert we had Greek yoghurt with honey and walnuts.. Delicious.Lots of choice on the menu so it was a shame we only had one night in Dortmund to visit this restaurant.

We have relatives that live a stone-throw away from this restaurant. We had dinner there and it was excellent. Tasty food, reasonable prices and very friendly and attentive wait staff. It was so good we came back the next day. This time it was later in the evening and it turned out they had run out of gyros. First we thought it was a joke that a Greek place could run out of gyros but they had. They told us to substitute any meat for it which worked fine since I liked their lamb chops the first time and took it again. They also ran out of Hovel beer -- again it seemed like a joke that a restaurant in Dortmund could run out Dortmund beer but it was true. But these were small issues, and we were compensated with another round of Ouzo for everybody. Overall, this was the best food we had in a week in Dortmund. And to boot, it was reasonably priced. A clear winner!

One of the hidden gems in Dortmund, this restaurant does its best to serve you Greek cuisine. Order pretty much everything, the taste will not disappoint you, as the owner keeps his quality standards high over the years. The staff is polite, it is better to do a reservation, the prices are ok.

I never expected good Greek food in Germany and my surprise turned into delight when I decided to go to Akropolis in Dortmund. A great choice of food and a pleasant ambience! The restaurant is also good to host small celebrations. In fact, if you would like to surprise your friends, you could not do better than gifting them a gift voucher to dine here. Your friends would love it. Being a chicken lover, I enjoyed the suflaki especially the cheese baked one. Much different from our Indian chicken nevertheless very very tasty! While you are there try the baked potato with garlic butter never mind your weight. I could not resist trying the cinnamon and lemon halva. My friend ever the weight watcher could not resist either and he tried the yogurt with nuts and honey. Both were delectable.

I certainly did not expect this restaurant behind the entrence. A 'modern' Greek restaurant where the whine bottles and grape leaves do not hang from the ceiling, nor will you find the outdated Greek motives on the wall. A very pleasant modern restaurant instead, tastefully decorated. More important, with pleasant personel, great food in big portions and great Greek wine. And at the end of our visit the bill did not ruin the evening but made it possible to enjoy an extra drink. Could definitely visit again.
