Absolut lohnenswert.

Markt 57 is located in the small, nice village of Dabringhausen and offers a clear map with good bourgeois and fancy food. Naturally vegans and vegetarians like to eat with us. The kitchen changes every three months the food on the menu and there are alwa
We have eaten here twice and on both occasions the food was excellent. As usual there is plenty of food on the plate but the quality is excellent. A little expensive but that is reflected in the quality of the food all cooked while you wait.

We booked by telephone to eat here late one Sunday afternoon recently prior to going on a nice long walk in the woods close by. We arrived a little late but this was no problem as around 17:30 the place was almost empty. We had a table close to the kitchen which was OK. The highhair for the little baby girl in our party was alread set up fr her which was great. We all needed drinks to quench our thirst after the walk. I thankfully downed a good glass of Veltins Pils beer before I get focus on eating anything.Service was informal and friendly. Choosing from the menu was a slight challenge as the offerings were rather unconventional. As a starter we decided to share homemade potato bread with two tiny pots of dips. For my main course I chose the so-called "Bergisches Krüstchen" which was a pork schnitzel with bacon, onions, cheese and a fried egg all presented on two slices of potato bread. To be honest I found it to be surprisingly uninteresting and quite dry. Unusually for me I didn't finish it completely. For dessert I liked the sound of "Knackige Versuchung" - a sort of crispy temptation comprising vanila ice cream with Baileys, caramel and cream. This was nice. With tip this whole experience cost me a round 100 Euro. Given the fact that the rest of the family found the dining experience here to their liking, notably the friendly, good natured service I'm happy to recommend this place for those wanting to top off their walk in the area with traditional local food.
Local pub with great food, most friendly service and good beer. Any schitzel or steak or burger will be just great. Try the local ("bergisch") and give the local beer a try too. Usually a crowded place, possibility to sit outside, but it often rains in Wermelskirchen.
Die Portionen im Haus hochstein sind riesig, geschmacklich jedoch eher mittelmäÃig - nichts besonderes. Der Service ist freundlich, aber etwas unorganisiert und chaotisch. Hat leider nicht überzeugt
I visited my son who recently moved to Wermelskirchen. He frequently eats at Bei Ali so he wanted me to try it. Upon his recommendation I had a dönner and we also shared a currywurst. I have never had either, and was pleasantly surprised. Very good food and good service.

We come here from time to time, either on private occasions or with business-friends.They offer a nice choice of excellent, high class Food. Good selection of Spirits. I enjoy the shrimps in different sauces a lot. Our son-in-law, who travels as often as I do, said: the best filet-Steak I ever had in my life.It is advisable to reserve a table.Parking is a bit of a Problem, but we always have managed to get a parking not too far away.

Culinary delights in a former children's home. Ronny Kabai is a gastronomic man who make their guests feel very welcome. The Landhaus Spatzenhof offers a range of local and international cuisine and a great selection of wine. The restaurant has undergone
we have booked a weekend arrangement in Spatzenhof for a wanderer arrangement. This was already suggested by the owner at the moment of booking where we have asked for a two rooms and diners to taste their kitchen. This was most affordable so we were already pleasantly surprised by the hotel owner. Our expectations were fullfilled : extraorinarely well prepared food, profesional and very helpful personnel. First dinner was 4 courses complemented with sommelier suggestions on wine and we have very much enjoyed. Second dinner was even better what was really a surprise : gourmet 6 courses with especially sole fish made so gently that it was an experience you keep on thinking. No wonder Michelin star is expected to be added !Rooms are theme based and have perfect beds : anatomically shaped, wide, bathroom has just everything you wish (even music !)We had a cabrio tour through this part of Germany and Spatzenhof proved to be a perfect start and endpoint of a trip. Absolutely fabulous adress for a romantic or gourmet weekend.

A great place to meet friends, family or have a casual meal with business colleagues. Menu is extensive and most menu items are based on german pancakes. We had pancakes with chanterrelles /Pfifferlinge, pancakes with salmon, pancake with cherries, pancakes with cinnamon apples, pancake soup. We had a group of 10-12 people, a mix of business friends and 3 children. All were served timely and with friendly service.
